Talking about £150M they've effectively stolen, a total of 29 points deducted really is a farce. How about 1 point penalty for each £1M creditors have been shafted (double if no CVA is approved). Admittedly, there won't be much to play for when a team like the Cheats start the season on -150 points, but making them carry over any deficit into the next season(s), as they plummet down the leagues, will give them an incentive to "pay off" their points deficit over the years. Relax Nick, it's either a slow painful death, or a quick one. They are on life support. Once the last parachute payment has come and gone, the plug will finally be pulled on the rotten carcass. Looks like a painful slow death (unless the conspiracy theory about Chinny, TBH, and agent Android is true).

I've been saying it all along, Chinny is bluffing. He isn't going to let Cheats FC be liquidated (yet), and give up his share of the parachute payments. TBH comes from a country where generally people aren't stupid about money, so it's not surprising that he appears to be the only one of the high earners having the balls to call Chinny's bluff. (The jury is still out on Liam.) Wild guess: at the 12th hour Trevor announces TBH has reached a compromise settlement, and Cheats FC will limp on for another season or so of laughs for us nutjobs. In reality Chinny has to settle for the parachutes minus most of what TBH is owed, but this is not made public. Ripping off 7 mugs out of the 8 high-earners is not bad. Unfortunately for Chinny the one exception happens to be twice as expensive.

Any mod who locks this thread prematurely would be as unpopular as TBH is now with the phew, and would have 1000 or so nutjobs after him. I've corrected it for you.

It appears he's calling Chinny's bluff. Of course, if holds out, he is going to incur the wrath of the phew, as Trevor whips up their hatred toward him to a total frenzy. But I have a feeling he can handle that.
