If they get Haaland, Liverpool, Chelsea and co. will be shitting themselves.

It is possible for 5 English teams to qualify for the CL, for example West Ham win the Europa league and don't finish in the top 4, then they qualify for the CL along with the top 4. Or Man Utd win the CL (ha ha!) and finish 5th. Spain had 5 teams in the CL this season. But if so, it doesn't give an extra Euro spot down the food chain: the total number of European spots stays the same (basically a non-CL spot becomes a CL one).

Probably not, he is a she!

An absolute nightmare. If we're in the semi-final with Chelsea waiting in the final, let's pray we lose to avoid that happening.
-
I'd be very upset if he was chosen ahead of Eric Black.
-
And one of the home matches was against arguably the best team in Europe, ending their 12 game winning streak!
-
Absolutely. It was the foundation for many of our great escapes in the 90s. It also got Gray the job after end of season wins against on-the-beach Arsenal and Man Utd.

If Burnley go down maybe Weghorst is worth a shout? A goal in every other game for Wolfsburg, big and strong with an eye for goal. Not young (29) but maybe worth a good 3 or 4 years.

Ings may be lost at Villa, but there's no denying when he was fit he was brilliant for us. A top forward is worth his weight in gold, and positively impacts the team from front to back. Even Long looked good when playing with Mane. If we lose Broja in the summer (sadly most likely) then a quality front man must be a priority. Unfortunately, as we all know, an affordable one is as rare as hens teeth.

He has a lot of ability but hasn't been playing well. That being said, his pass to Sancho was a beauty, inch perfect.

.... the gates of pun hell are opened. 😈

Only 100% so far. Draws don't count.
-
Fortunately not. But at the beginning of today's match the taters said Ronaldo was in his worst drought since leaving Utd decades ago, which left me in dread. So I was pleasantly surprised we didn't end it!
-
And again today. Some great headers and clearances, but switched off and was nowhere to be seen for Sancho's goal.

There are still 16 teams left. Yes some are lower division teams, but we have to play a strong PL league team to get through to the quarters, and Liverpool, City, and Chelsea (all avoiding each other) probably await in the next rounds, along with other PL teams. I wouldn't say 25 to 1 is outrageous (also figuring in the bookie markup).

My favourite: If we don't play well in this game, Southampton along with Hasenhuttl will take the game away from us very soon. I watched the Spurs vs Southampton game last night and they were unbelievable. Spurs really struggled against them. We really need to up our game and play well to win or there won't be any draw, they'll take 3 points from OT.

For some reason I'm completely relaxed about this game.

If I had a daughter I'd be proud to have JWP as my son-in-law.

Definitely better than the starting 11 against Coventry.

Lucky Everton. Although, the way they're playing at the moment ....

It was like a game of Russian roulette. He pulled the trigger and clicked on a blank. "See, all's well that ends well. What were you worrying about?"
