Ah but f you look at his scoring history with the ASM you'll notice that a lot of his goals came in big, big wins against **** poor sides like, Troyes, Metz, Guingamp etc. As the PSG DM Rabiot said a while back, it's really not that hard to score 8 against Dijon. A lot of French L1 sides would struggle in our League 1, they've no money and very little talent. That's why the French Cup semis have 2 semi pro sides in them this year. They're playing each other so the final will be no doubt PSG reserves against some awful non-league side.

Anyhow the result will be about the same in all cases. The PL's voracious manager mill has run out of fodder. That's why outcast failures like Lambert and Pardew can still get jobs.

That's the way I'd see it. There are no obvious candidates for instant success. We still have every chance of not being in the bottom 3 at the end of the season and it's probably best just to do nothing right now. WBA are already gone, Stoke will join them and that just leaves one place.
