It's interesting to get beyond the claims and look into the alleged offences that Trump is hanging onto. The major ones about sharpies, dead people, the sudden increase in figures and more people voting than live in states have all been fact-checked, explained and dismissed. None of them appear to have any validity, but he's welcome to take it to court. It'll be brief - and the real losers will be his legal team who probably won't get paid. Losing the election was damaging, but it's his bizarre reaction that has killed any hopes of a return in four years.

Has Boris found reverse gear yet or is he still cosying up to the orange one while pissing off the next President?

What Ralph has achieved is quite incredible. 9-0 to top of the league - now that's a story worth hearing again.

Every Trump lie, every snide insult, all the shit about fake news, every day spent on a golf course, all the speeches laughing at Covid and calling people traitors, the insults to soldiers, every deranged Tweet in CAPS - all of those moments over four years have chased voters away, so the Washington sky is tonight filled with the chickens of justice coming home. Roost my little beauties, roost!

I'm wondering if Biden might even turn around Pennsylvania...he has momentum there and is bringing down that 300k lead... Either way, Trump is playing a blinder.

We won, we're 3rd. Enjoy it. 😊

Anyone who has played the game at any level knows that you don't make contact of any sort in that situation 'by accident'. Studding like that in the VAR era that will and should always be red. A manager blaming it on a previous game is as bonkers as any conspiracy that arch distraction artists Ferguson or Mourinho have ever conjured up.

The United Kingdom and the Death of Boris Johnson as we know it.

We'll become the Saudi Arabia of wind!...another field we'll lead the world in, hurrah for plucky old us!.... 😂 More made-up shit to fool the simpler voter. -

Don't worry, he'll be long remembered for so much more than that. -
You'd think our clean sheet would have made the headlines but no - just the usual United and Liverpool bias.

I understand that some may need their money back but personally I'm happy to leave my season ticket money in there if it assists cashflow and aids transfer activity. And if they've managed to find somewhere to earn interest, good luck to them.

Did I see that the former treasurer of the supporters' trust has been done for personal tax evasion? I was also amused to hear Catlin banging on at great length about his disgust at the potential idea that some rivals might attempt to gain a competitive advantage by offering wages that they can't afford under the new rules. Selective memory.

Every year the same mistake, it's ridiculous. Why can't they get the fixtures correct for once? For ten months of every year I get told by every toothless simpleton that we'll be playing each other next season, and then the fixtures are released and they've missed off the local derby. I know they partially-corrected it last season with that cup game/training session, but a half-hearted warm-up match against what I assume was their Walking Football XI, isn't a proper game. Sort it out EFL!

He's playing a blinder, apparently. As is Harry Maguire. -

Cabinet minister proves to be clueless yes-man promoted well beyond his talents shock. -
It's okay, I renewed today so cashflow is stable for a week or two.

She must have inherited it from her father Spike.

KWP should be a great signing, though he's not a Jose player as he goes forwards. All the best to Hojberg, he was okay for us at times, but you do wonder if Jose might train the last ounce of quality out of him as he did with Morgan Schneiderlin...this deal has a similar feel.

I think most people can see the difference of context. Any word used by two gays to happily address each other could be interpreted very differently when the same word is scrawled in dog's shit on their front door by an extremist nutter. Ditto the n-word, fully acceptable to like-minded hip hop artists if they are happy about it. There's no invisible line on these matters, the line is very clear to most sensible people.

Lemina and Boufal could do tricks as the half-time entertainment - or we could sell them to a circus. Either way, neither appear suitable for Leeds away on a Tuesday night in December.

It's no excuse for the nine goals, but the red card was a significant factor overlooked by all commentators, we'd have kept them to five or six without that. Either way, we beat them 2-1 when they had a full team and however many you score, I believe you still get three points. 😊

Final Barclays Manager of the Month - Choose Ralph
rallyboy replied to le_tiss's topic in The Saints
A battle? 😂 Jose's team couldn't muster a shot against Bournemouth and lost to Sheffield United. West Ham managed to scrape a last ditch draw at home to Aston Villa with a freak goal and were the dullest team out there, Man United dropped loads of points, were shambolic at the back and even managed to chuck in a cup debacle to break up the month. Pep's team were amazing, banging shedloads of goals past nearly everyone. And that's where this award is won, the only team to challenge Man City were Saints. And we won. Ralph mate, it's yours, anything else would be ridiculous. -
Well done Ralph, and well done to the players, what a great turnaround. Most commentators have forgotten and none mention it, but we suffered a very heavy home defeat earlier in the season and it looked like there were serious problems and relegation beckoned. Under massive pressure. Ralph has turned it round in style and buried the Puel era and several of those forgettable crap seasons. Roll on the day when we are allowed to share some wins. The South Coast is ours.

I believe they intend to get around the restrictions by limiting it to the number of teeth per stand and insisting on the use of lucky medicinal heather to control spread.

It's nice to read that most people have had positive experiences and the majority of players over the years have been fairly sensible. A few decades back I had a workman round and he was telling me about doing work at Nick Holmes' place. He said that Nick was big-headed, arrogant, and was just banging on about how great he was. Which immediately told me that the workman was full of shit - because Nick was a lovely bloke and the last one in that team to come across like that. As an aside, I worked with Steven Gerrard briefly and we were in an area which was crowd-free, just me and him. I politely (always important) asked him to sign something for, which he did without hesitation, as I thanked him and congratulated him on some recent triumph. But we were together for maybe two minutes and in that time he didn't respond or utter a single word, just quietly signed, and ignored me, it was a bit unusual.... I've also witnessed some appalling behaviour from the general public towards celebs so I can understand why some forget their role and treat people with disdain.
