Players a bit worried with where the club are heading !?
Dr. Kucho replied to simo's topic in The Saints
I hope it did He spoilt are day with that performance against Hull. Mind you he had some blond bird with him, one that could be straight out of a MTV reality show, sure she could help him get over the disappointment, in return for some expensive shoes.. -

Bumped into Ward-Prowse on Oxfordstreet,London a few weeks ago. Was just after the game against Hull so couldn't be arsed to speak to him. -
Right, so the results are all but in and the Tories have won, but don't have a majority. Now what I don't understand is Corbyn going on about himself being PM. How is that possible? If Labour, the SNP and Lib Dem all join forces, the still don't have a majority (to be precise, they would still have fewer votes then the Tories). How could that work? As an outsider it seems to me all the Tories have to do is strike a deal with the DUP and it's all done. Could someone explain how it goes on from now?

Can't believe May messed up so badly. With the Tories running high in polls months ago and Labour a mess, they could have spent months planning this election and rehearsing the questions they could get. Instead in a period of 7 weeks they have completely botched this up. Regardless of the results tonight, she should step down.

Source? My mate who's a season ticket holder at Ajax would like to know more about it. Especially now it seems they are likely to promote Marcel Keizer to first team coach.

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

As long as the government won't admit there's a problem with Islam, the problem won't go away and can't be fought. -
Isn't Krueger a German citizen? Born in Canada whilst his parents were immigrants from Germany.

If Les manages to bring Tuchel to St Mary's, I am starting a crowdfunding petition so we can have a statue of him at the entrance of Staplewood, built in the same style as the ancient Collossus of Rhodes. Tuchel would be a major signing and might keep players on board and attract some relatively big names and talents.

He has worked in Russia, so is familiar with working abroad and language barriers. Maybe he could take Rudiger and Nianggolan along with him

I'm never ITK regarding us, but a extremely reliable source told me today that Ali Dia has just gained his coaching badges and George Weah's cousin will be giving Les a call tomorrow morning. Expect an announcement tomorrow afternoon, FACT!

I don't think Puel is a bad coach and has good tactical knowledge. However I believe that he is not coach we need at the club. I think his message doesn't come across to the players and he struggles to motivate and bond with them. With us aspiring to be a solid top 10 premier league club, we need a coach who likes to play attacking football and can attract players to the club. A big name like Mancini, Pellegrini or Emery (preferred choice).

Terrorist Attacks - WARNING: CONTAINS DISTRESSING IMAGES

If you want to stop these jihadists, go after the people who radicalized the bombers. Then see who they work for and I find the core of the problem. Of course it would be hard to get all the nonsense of the web, but we have enough hate preachers who have been preaching for years with authorities doing too little to stop them. As said above, we have been to tolerant to these people. I have no problem with Mosques etc, however Sharia courts and religious schools (Christianity, Islam or any other religion) should be banned. I had the misfortune to go to a Christian school and thinking back the bullish!t we were taught was crazy. Everyone should be able to follow the religion they choose to, but in a moderate way without telling others what they believe is wrong is it's different to their beliefs. On a positive note after this horrendous attack, its was good to see people uniting and brave people stepping in to help the wounded shortly after the attack. -
Giovanni van Bronckhorst has Feyenoord playing some nice stuff. They score loads of goals and have let in few goals. Phillip Cocu's style at PSV is more conservative and PSV dropped many points this/last season. Has to be said that both have strong squads and it would have been a farce if one of them had finished outside the top 3. Peter Bosz from Ajax would be a great appointment (won't happen), the guy has Ajax playing some amazing stuff and watch them beat United Wednesday in the Europa league final.

If he gets the sack from PSG, we should try and sign him asap. Proven in La Liga, lost the Champions League draw to some dodgy refereeing and relatively big name. To attract players, and retain some other, we need a manager with a proven record.
-
Sisto is very much a raw talent, but with the right coaching and environment he could become a very good player. Got good pace and can score goals (something we seem to have forgotten).
-
Ziyech is a amazing player and is thriving under Peter Bosz at Ajax. If I am right Ajax paid around 10 million euro for Ziyech, we would have to pay silly money to get him. I doubt if Ziyech would've suited to the PL, he would have to bulk up significantly. The player we should have signed last summer is Pione Sisto from Celta de Vigo. Celta signed him for 5 million from some Danish club last summer.

has signed a 2 year deal with former Saints manager Nigel Adkins joining him as assistant

I can't see the point in playing a player, that has been injured for most of the season, just for the last 2 games. Say he gets injured again and he will lose part of the pre season. If I was the club I would send him on holiday and make him come back early for pre season, to work on his fitness. -
Shaw coming back from United . It won't happen, but for the sake of his career it would be a good choice. Play most weeks with less pressure and a known environment.

Relegated Teams - Players who would you buy from their Squads?
Dr. Kucho replied to le_tiss's topic in The Saints
Could add Maguire from Hull to that list. Maybe we should be looking in the championship for talented players. For Keane and Gibson I hope they make the right choice of club. Going to a club were they wouldn't play could harm their careers. -

Wasn't Ben Gibson from Middlesbrough supposed to be decent? Haven't seen him play, but the papers were raving about him. -
Puel lost Wanyama, Pelle, Mane and in January Van Dijk.
-
No Schneiderlin?

Maybe being rested for Saturday, its unlikely we will get something out of this game.
