To be fair he rarely sounds optimistic. This is the man who called a meeting with staff, told them they wouldnt get paid and to wait another week then less than 24 hours later Pinnacle get the period of exclusivity and staff got paid !!! He is right about the incredible abuse of power however !! I would take the bastards to the court of human rights.......after the deal is done

Anyway......I suppose, bearing in mind TL's statement about the FL faxing them across details of "what they want" do we assume that the Pinnacle team are locked up in a room somewhere going through all the fine detail ? With a view to putting us all out our misery tomorrow ???

I wouldnt bother.....there are some wild and wooly theories on all of them....and nobody knows the exact details of what tomorrows meeting and hence the takeover hold up is all about.

Agreed 100%, but if the FL did put the other hat on and say you should start in the Blue Square then surely they would have to apply that rule to every club that is taken over, wether in admin or not, and none have so far.

Thanks again Tony, it makes me feel better hearing from the horses mouth so to speak. I am sure the threorists on here will continue to put forth their own theories and likely outcomes unfortunately. Some of the in depth posts on here which not only second guess what Pinnacle/Fry/The Football League will do or say regarding an issue or issues which have not been made public due to confidentiality agreements are quite frankly mind blowing !!

Well you have made me feel better, thanks, and gathering all the little scraps of info (Mr Lynam's post, MLT on SSN etc) that would certainly make a lot more sense than the right to appeal issue.

So do we know what form this meeting is going to take on Monday then ? I mean is this a meeting where - A - Pinnacle/Administrator/Club have some form of representation to air their side of the argument and for both parties to discuss the situation. or B - Is it a few old crusties from the FL sitting around a table with tea and biscuits for about half an hour before issuing a statement which basically says "**** you, agree with us or go away" ?? Because if it is B then whats the point of them holding the meeting, they may as well have just issued a statement to that effect.

yeah, he never mentioned today, just said "despite outside influences" to undermine their bid.....i assume that was a little swipe at the FL !! there was certainly no suggestion from MLT that the thing is about to go tits up !

All he has said, it would seem, is the quote in the Echo about no bidder will complete until the League's assurance they will get the licence to play in League 1 this coming season.

No idea, Mr Lynam's note didnt indicate either way. I would assume thats it until Monday's meeting but who knows ? If Pinnacle lawyers say whatever the FL get them to sign is not a legally binding document due to its content then they could complete tonight....but its doubtful.

No i dont....where would he get the funds from for a start.......and secondly if you were a creditor who felt done over by him and his mates would you really accept a fraction of the debt owed ???

Thats right, doesnt matter if the ten points are added back to our total next April if we won an appeal....so why stir the pot at this very moment.....everyone knows the FL have the "its my ball..." mentality.
