Hang on, I thought the general consensus was that the falling attendances were nothing to do with Lowe? People on here reckon there are only a handful that aren't going because of Rupert, so how does it warrant a major story in the Echo?

I don't think the BBC have had the rights to England away games for ages have they? They've been on Sky for years. BBC used to get the highlights, but those are on ITV now so no big change there.
There are a couple on Richer Sounds, but I think they were about £250 when I looked earlier. If you don't want so many speakers, there are some decent 2.1 systems about nowadays.
In general I agree with you, but we hardly won any home games last season and were getting about 5k more fans per match.
I fear that once fans stop going, it's hard to get them to come back.
