Agree 100%. We did fine when we had a stronger team on the pitch, and faded when we made loads of subs. Not the first time that's ever happened, and it won't be the last. It was a pre season exhibition match, no point over analysing it.

I thought he looked pretty good. Would be a strong addition, as much for his leadership as anything as that's an area where we really struggled last year.

They are good fans as well to be fair, who have had season tickets for years and been going since we were kids (20+) years. I think i know at least half a dozen who have ditched their season tickets this year.

That's true, but the Pompey fans don't rate him at all. They weren't keen on the style of football. A lot of my friends have given up their season tickets this year, due to a combination of high prices and poor home entertainment for the past couple of years.

Anyone know what his record of signing players is like? Is he one for buying players who are already the finished article, or does he spot up and coming talent? We probably need to bring in half a dozen players or more in the next few weeks, so it might give an idea of what to expect.

I guess when you get a 100, they don't count the 50.
