We have been in the premier league since 2012. The generation of players who last made a significant impact were appearing in the match squad at age 17. I will let people start doing math.

In many games he appeared to be our only creative spark , but would invariably get scythed down by the oppositions crunching tackle with no one else really working to help out or make the most. I think he is better than some of those other players that have had "moment" but ultimately ended up loaned out. To shine he needs to be in a more advance position than he was often played at. I am hopeful for this one in away that a bunch of others flattered to deceive.

If you wait for the man to give you more you will be waiting a long time, you have to move company for that to happen normally. -
I think its time to build on rather than build for, we had a pretty good run last time out.

Pay CEO less! Reduce inflation! Yeah I can get behind that message. -
https://www.cnbc.com/2021/05/22/wages-rise-at-the-fastest-pace-in-years-firms-profits-could-take-a-hit.html I read this article having a real hard time going along with their clear sympathies of the author. Maybe a pandemic every so often helps boost the normal person wages, after all a side effect of the black death was a dramatic increase in wages and increased freedom for the peasants. Note: Not suggesting deliberately infecting a bunch of people for economic gain.

Having met regular trans people, who mostly just wish to blend in and be treated like a regular person all this look at me stuff must be really infuriating.

The financial markets have been mostly gambling for sometime now, it only makes sense to take underlying assets out of the picture and just bet against each other, I cannot see anything going wrong.

To be a good team you need good players, a good managers and good coaches (plus other stuff) If one of these is not there it undermines the quality of the other parts. A recruitment policy of just hiring people who are already there is not always going to give you the best people. However anyone who is going to become skilled at a job has to learn that skill somewhere. So my take would be to hire top level coaches below the manager and then a number of prospective coaches from people you think have potential who can learn on the job and from those other coaches with more experience. Eventually you can end up with a skilled core of senior coaches you could promote from within, and be prepared to cut those who do not work out. But be aware that due to the nature of football teams, often a whole group will leave when a manager leaves. You have to limit the temptation of promoting from within of people not ready to do the job, or blocking brining in the experience you need to teach your other coaches how to be effective. But that is just the normal problem of all businesses regardless of industry.

The economic reality is that its cheap and therefore the BBC can afford it. Its not like most football at most levels is over blessed with quality. Sport is interesting to watch when it is competitive. Watching two bantam weights fight is interesting, but if you tried to compare this with how two heavy weights go at it, its not the same thing. With no professional incentive the quality is unlikely to be at its peak. Watching athletes at their peak competing with other athletes at their peak in a fair contest is exciting. But to compare them against each other is not helpful they should be judged against themselves. If it does not entertain you choose to do something else is the only suggestion I can give. People do not watch kids sport and complain their Johnny's game aint as good as watching Real Madrid. But is judged in the context of a game against other 8 year olds for example.

Outside our own VAR howlers I vote for the offside pointing finger as stupidest decision of the year.

Playing a game of whack a mole for non offence to people is never much fun, how about welcome aboard X make it as neutral as possible. my two rules 1) Don't be a Di... 2) Don't look for excuses to be upset. I do not think 1 applies and someone who has a genuine position would likely have much larger issues of acceptance in society then hearing a message that in their world view was for someone else, but had ultimately no impact on their allocation of resources or material position.

To be fair if I was not a chemist and used cis and trans for labels for types of carbon-carbon double bonds I would have been unlikely to have any idea what they were talking about. I get the feeling that football fans are getting stereotyped here as a reliable way to find a target group for the research.

I rather think his value has fallen in recent times after going off the rails a little.

I am mostly interested to see if the current state of finances are going to be impacting the deals being done or is everyone going to keep running to the cliff everyone has said they need to do something about but in a game of chicken cannot restrain themselves from leaping over with enthusiasm.

I think you find self motivated millionaires that do it because they want to. I do not think say Lionel Messi has been unmotivated during his career.

Some players can be more easily replaced than other in our squad, and when one of those players we cannot replicate the role of is out, we struggle. Romeu is definitely one of those players, he has been here a while now and I think we need to seriously look at having cover and/or replacement lined up, because it is vital to have an effective defensive midfielder to make other part of our strategy work.

Norwegian fish from Norwegian waters foreigners go home! They were pinning for the fjords.

My wife can binge watch shows for hours, maybe the problem is the game is too short to compete with a Netflix release?

If they took cues from the American sport they are attempting to emulate they would make 60 minuets of actual playing time and make it go on for 3.5hrs but broken down into convenient 15 second chunks so you can have more adverts in-between. I have never sat through a game and thought it was too long if it was good.

If I remember correctly Leeds fall was created by a need to get Champions League every year for revenue purposes and had to spend accordingly to get there, but when this did not work out it blew up. But no one really cared, now we have 12 clubs who have put themselves in this position and tried to act as a cartel, but luckily they seem to have failed. I think what they need to do is just work harder, a few extra hours here and there, maybe stand at the side of the road asking for handouts. Or maybe dont spend so much freaking money you stupid idiots.

A united front presented to the greedy seems to have done the job well done to all who opposed this, even from fans of some clubs I am not normally so favored towards.

The Perez saving football claim is the most cynical of this whole endeavor. Football is not dying, they have not taken peoples balls away, there are still clubs all over the place you can follow, Real have not suddenly lost all their supporters. There are still the world cups and international competition. If one of the big clubs suddenly evaporated the sport would still carry on, Big clubs of the past have been toppled and the sport continues. It is a naked power grab to the detriment of others and it should be resisted for the overall good of football.
