He gave himself a 10/10 for handling the crisis which is interesting for someone who didn't even believe it was real to start with. He also said that the experts were praising him for how well he understood it and that he has a real talent for it. That maybe he should have gone into this field instead. Now being a scientist myself, I have encountered a number of individuals in the field with his "characteristics" and I will say that I am normally cleaning up the mess they have made. Fortunately the world of science normally moves past this type of stuff because you need actual evidence. Now he played the same I have a natural talent for it with generals in an earlier round of this nonsense, said the guy who dodged serving. And now he is responding with the opposite of everything he once stood against by sending out free money to people, ironic.

Watching this idiot flub the response to a crisis would be funny if it was not effecting so many people we have gone the whole range from its a hoax, through its a plot to undermine him to maybe its real. press conference start with a round of praise the leader and the full capability of the federal government to respond has not been released because no direction has been issued. What is really worrying me right now is that people I talk to, and where I live is mostly Trump loving, the more they support him the less they believe in the severity of the crisis and what prep should be done except as the guy I share an office with showed me pictures of his son cleaning is AR-15s "just in case"

Having been outside the UK for 16 years and not watching breakfast telly when I was there, I am more surprised that he was married to a woman for 27 years than that he turned out to be gay. Next thing is I wonder about people who think a career being in the public eye is more important to you than being yourself. he could have just become something boring rather than have to hide it. Or just come out in the first place I see plenty of gay people on TV that it does seem to have stopped them, from the same era and before.

How about both sorts of behavior is bad and draw some lines in the ground rather than say the person I agree with is fine and engage in some "what about ism" Anyway Trump already condoned similar behavior with P-grabbing so cant really turn it around. Or how about men just behave themselves, and not do disrespectful things to women.

I always thought this was a stupid idea that was never going to get the Republicans onboard, all its done has emboldened him. They should just have concentrated on beating him in the election. The worse thing about all this is that later on some even less savory character will exploit the same system for even worse outcomes. Because the much vaunted checks and balances system can be hijacked by a single election making sure the number of people elected per party does not reflect voting percentages by carefully drawing the lines, understanding that there is an advantage to representing sparsely populated areas to control the senate and stuffing a court with friendly faces.

Cedric Soares - Official: Loaned to Arsenal
Mystic Force replied to Saint Garrett's topic in The Saints
I like Soares better in a saints team that's attacking than one that's defending. He makes me nervous. -
That was awesome!

Am I still allowed to talk about women's tennis?

From 8-0 Sunderland to 0-9 Leicester - a journey of decline
Mystic Force replied to manina-pub's topic in The Saints
I think our problem was that we sold our best players at what at the the looked like good prices but at the suddenly rapidly inflating player cost meant that it was insufficient to hire equivalent replacement, and we seemed to be almost a season behind on how we did business as the big clubs tried to strong arm and we had to wait till next time to do business by which point the cost was much higher. Also everyone else caught on to doing what we were doing and replicated our information advantage (I am convinced Wenger’s early Arsenal success was based on his information advantage over the rest of the league on the relatively unknown at that time french league and able to bring in otherwise overlooked quality players.) And thirdly we believed our own hype that we had invented this great system that could function regardless of personel because it would always find the right people for all positions, instead of it being the exceptional talent of one individual who made us shine, Paul Mitchell. One other person in the system also believed that one person was responsible for success and not the system unfortunately they believed in the wrong person namely themselves and that was Less Reed. So in summary we temporarily punched above our weight because we had the talents of Paul Mitchell and then everyone caught up. And yeah..... -
If August was a universal problem maybe they could start the league later.

It seems most Americans do not understand that their constitutional rights are about what the government can and can not di to its citizens. It does not tell you of your rights on private property. So you do not have a constitutional right to take a gun into someones elses property, although there might be state laws meaning that a property owner cannot deny you carrying a weapon (the NRA were pushing these kinds of laws a few years ago)

Yes I am sure that they are using the collection of data on potential problem gamblers for good.....

Only got to watch second half. Wolves looked handy without really worry Gunn that much, bringing on Romeu really stiffened the side up. It makes me wonder what kind of season we could have had if we had Ralph longer.
-
Yes there is, you sneakily used your full allowance of outfield players.
-
They would win with a massive landslide with a better leader though.

Being a Brit living in the USA, I can tell you right now Americans have never heard about the special relationship except when a Prime minster visists the US and trots out the phrase and then the Americans think how quaint. Do not expect any help from this side of the pond, we are only known for royals, bad dentistry and the last acceptable use of Hollywood stereotypes.

You should lookl at the scales on those graphs we are 120 points lower in confidence! (yes I know that they are on some different basis, but on a serious note unless normalized against each other or being on a common framework its kind of stupid to compare)

Demographics suggest that white people still are the predominant group in Britain. There is a difference to welcoming diversity and it not showing up and excluding diverisity and not letting it in.
-
Since when did being white, middle class and educated become a crime? I thought this was all about kicking out johnny foreigner? If you dont have all these variously shadded, uneducuted benefits scourgers coming then surely that just leaves you with middle class white people! Or am I missing something?

IF you leave your bike out un attentended and unlocked, the person who stole it is bad, but you were negligent, and thats all I will say

We stimply had to get rid of people before we start looking like Chelsea, signing up every player we can and sending them out on loan, but not for the posotive reason of wanting to find gems but to off load turds. Were these the players I would have chosen to get rid of? Probably not, but those we will have a hard time shifting. I am hoping with a smaller more cohesive squad Ralph will be able to mold them into a better unit, we have obviously shown improvement under him and not just some temporary new manager bump, but actual change. So would I like some strengthening hell yes, but I think it is equally as important to remove bloat.

I never understood the people who didn't rate Mane at the beginning he was clearly class. As for finding "cheap" players, I reckon as soon you call and say "hello I am calling on behalf of PREMIER LEAGUE Southampton" the price shoots up because they know the premier leagues got money. Secondly a "relegation threaten" club is not the same prospect for attracting talent who want to showcase their ability as "mid table" or "up and coming" is and that's a reality the club has to deal with till such time as they can aspire to be considered "mediocre" instead of "poor" by potential recruits.

Cedric never convinced me as a defender and as we are doing more defending than attacking these days he was shown up.
