When we went to the JPT at Wembley, we parked at South Ruislip Underground Station (which is overground) only a few stops from Wembley. It was free then on weekends and the grandchildren travelled free too. Easy to drive to via M25 and A 40 and to get away from.

You can say that again as both the Dona Filipa Hotel and the Ria Park are 5 star. Unless of course they all packed into RC and LVG 's villas on the cheap.

There was a portly lad, Kevin Gibbons I think his name was, who played right back and came up from the academy. I have seen him at SMS playing for the first team not long after the Stadium opened. I belive somebody on TSW saw him cycling on a bike dressed white painters overalls in Verwood or somewhere not long afterwards.

I had to watch this at my daughters as we do not have BT Sport. It was poor and I left after the third goal went in for Italy. Greatly enjoyed the womens match on Monday though--they never gave up.

Mike Williamson has played a few games for Newcastle too. I think he came into the Academy from Torquay. I also seem to remember when the PA Announcer tried to intruduce him to the fans at the Dell, he forgot his name. He was later released by us and went on to Wycombe I believe.
