Hopefully this means that any profits over and above the agreed £6.8m will be awarded to us, on top of the additional £1.5m. In reality, we will probably just be awarded the original £1.5m, in 18 months time, which will just about cover our legal fees.

Oh come on! Just because he said he would 'like to stay at Southampton' doesn't mean he would ignore spuds waving 100k pw at him. We cannot and should not be matching this for a good defender who will likely play only 2/3 of a season due to his dodgy hamstrings (wonder how he will get on with potch's high intensity training?). You have to admit, it's great entertainment. Like when you accidentally switch on channel 5, and are confronted with ' Britain's worst pubs' or some such schlock. Jeff always struck me as a bit of a princess, so probably for the best. I quite like Sotonians for chat, but I think I'll stick to this place for football related content. It really is like the muppet show just moved across. Some funny stuff imo.
