I was there and it was Kingsland Red Junior's first trip to The Dell (aged seven). I had to explain that it wasn't a regular occurrence, hence the massive celebrations !

Record against direct rivals for survival
Kingsland Red replied to saints_is_the_south's topic in The Saints
Add the 4 points we threw away against Swansea and Norwich and we would be well clear by now. So time for a few bonus points taken from the top half clubs. -
I still think there is mileage in the BC charge on Fatpipes Park. There must be a financial tipping point where, if BC doesn't get what he wants for the ground, then he becomes a secured creditor with a large percentage of the vote on the proposed exit from the CVA. Then maybe this makes the acceptance of coming out of administration a more financially demanding issue for the PST?

Many of the above, and Gillingham away in the league cup c 1998 (?). They had all the possession, we had a decent keeper and woodwork and won 2-0 ( Beattie x2, I think). A good mugging from an slick efficient team.

Just a thought - If Chinny has a fixed and floating charge over all Pompey's assets, and say next week the ground gets valued at £2.75m, could he not put the balance of the charge on the other assets such that Birch has to keep going back to court to get other assets re-evaluated ? This could become a spectator sport for many years to come.

Looked good tonight with several quick reactive saves but lets not push the lad too far too quickly...

Note to NA - don't let Tadanari take penalties !

What I don't understand is, with a well worked free kick, why is the man now known as Font on the end in such situations rather than someone with an eye for goal. It happened a few games ago at the Northam end .

The Indian guy who regularly calls me to advise me my 'Microsoft' computer is at risk has confirmed he is based in Manchester. When I asked to speak to his manager he advised he had finished his shift. I once asked him what he proposed to do to resolve my computer issues and he got as far as demanding some bank details before I advised my computer was an Apple. Ah well, he still kindly calls.....

The Southampton Goalkeeping Crisis Flowchart
Kingsland Red replied to Saint-Armstrong's topic in The Saints
Brad Friedel, Carlo Cudicini, Blokey Gomes or Hugo Lloris. Dont be greedy Spurs, we could do with any one of these come January. -
Jeff lives in Bishops Waltham and his sons go to school in Winchester. ( Both good keepers ). They are often at St Marys.

Better than the Newcastle fans- "Alan Pardew, he sh*gs who he wants' and he gives them the finger !

If this starting eleven stays fit we will continue to progress, but as the Leeds game showed, we do not yet have a strong squad.

Awesome save from Gazza at the Chapel end, initially thought it hit the post. Also without all the d*cking around with triangles around our penalty area today , he looked comfortable with his distribution.

Atkinson and the Kingsland side lino were a joke. Having said that, it was the Itchen lino that got the Rodriguez 'goal' wrong.

Just because Abramovich likes to change managers every season, it needn't become a trend we have to follow. Stabilty has to count for something, rather than sack the perfectly good incumbent manager a the first tricky period of a season. Keep up the good work Nigel ! -
To put this one to bed, when I renewed our season tickets, as my sons are away at uni, the ticket office suggested I have the season tickets all in my name.

They need a solid couple of centre backs - erm, where is Callum Davenport these days...

Two players in the team of the weekend. Good times ! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/20388330

Signed. I hate the way we seem to be so wrapped up in political correctness and yet are incapable of looking after our own.

Well done NA and the team. Long may the togetherness continue.
