  1. Great to see NR signed up but Van Dyke signed a 5 year contract. It means SFA.
  2. Exactly, the problem we have now is due to the bloke who is now in charge at the FA!!My god all the good the national team has done will unravel with him at the top. No doubt he is passing his coaching manual out to all at the National centre. To give multi million pound contracts to players who to the dimmest judge could see they were not worth it was madness. We are now saddled with these overpaid players who will not find another club easily, unless we pay most of the wages.
  3. got to fill the world class dug outs with something
  4. VVD was a last ditch defender with us, thats because we were weak on the flanks and the midfield in front of him. We were far more secure defensively when we had Victor there and so until we solve our DM problem we are going to have to rely on last ditch stuff as the ball is going to keep coming into our box. Cedric is back so when he plays that means the ball being lumped to the back post for a forward to be on his shoulder.
  5. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7309869/Girl-3-kidnapped-Indian-railway-station-gang-raped-beheaded.html What is wrong with the world when these things happen? I read about this yesterday and it really affected me. I really hope these people who parade themselves as human have the most untold pain put on them for the rest of their mortal lives
  6. Im not condoning this at all but do they do this to criminals whatever the colour of skin???
  7. The EU burocrats want to make leaving so punitive that no others follow the route. That is obvious and Barnier is a very clever operator, he tore our pathetic negotiators to shreds. Hence the rubbish deal we have. The Germans are starting to realise that we are more important than many thought. The French will be able to play Brussels to their tune as they manipulate to suit their agenda.
  8. Why? He was rejected by us when he was young. As far as Ive read he never played for Ipswich
  9. Globule force strikes again
  10. will Pompey get some sell on money??
  11. Wes at present we dont pay anything to the EU for financial services that are trillions, in the US you do. Once we leave they can put just .0000025 on each and that will dwarf the 39bn. Anyway the 39bn is over a period of time and we will cave in on that.
  12. that may be but a client of mine was a prominent member of the government and the EU who was adamant that we should remain. In conversation with him a little while ago he believes that we should leave as we will be treated pretty poorly in future by them. I assume as in 'be quiet, you tried to leave and now have come back in cap in hand' Perhaps membership to the Euro will also be then pushed on us
  13. I think Slattery will be a decent player. Give him some slack
  14. It is mildly amusing that the disgraceful Farage new party is going to stop the thing he says he want as in leaving the EU. By putting the Brexit party up in the elections it will split the vote and so the Tories will not get a majority to get the Brexit. It is comical that these thickos are voting for Brexit party and so stopping the very thing they want as they are going to deprive the Tories the seats they require to push it through.
  15. They have the marquee now they need a tablecloth
  16. I thinkthe commentary connected to the BBC footage, with us being a goal down to Newcastle with a few minutes to go and us winning 3-1?? Also ditto with the Long goal at Anfield
  17. really good signing IMO
  18. Surely he meant Parcel Force
  19. I always like these threads where we can look back and remember going to games with family members who may not still be with us. For me it was the 1976 FA cup semi final and Final with my dad who is no longer with us. I recall I saw tears in his eyes when we got to the final, something that I would never had expected from him.
  20. Interesting if a lot of these footballers really know how bad the climate and pollution is like
  21. Dirty Leeds
  22. I notice today that it said over 60% of people were more worried about the environment that Brexit. Seems to point at the raving Green party to do well.
  23. I read on a news feed that the Irish said last week that if there was a no deal that there would be a frictionless border, and so the thinking is that if they can accommodate that with a no deal they could with one. So things may happen, we should all be keen for it to be
  24. Couldn't each one be all 3,well 2 of those categories anyway
  25. Cant do that No 9as it doesn't have the red on it in respect of their PL rivls
