  1. I would say we are the 'Man to Man meets Man Parish' of League 1 'Built like a truck I'd bump for a buck Tips in my G-string, made my living I was a male stripper in a gogo bar. (x4) In hot cop drag In another man's stag Dressed to tease him, strip to sleaze 'im' Apparently
  2. I Couldn't agree more. And give them Sag to sweeten the deal
  3. I like the idea that we woulb be in place that, if we didn't have the -10 points, would show that we would have got promotion. Sort of like a vindication
  4. AAHHH Plymouth. The only place that I could ever score with two birds and have them do unspeakable things to me. Which sounds great and in your head you see two tasty page 3 types, but in reality i remember that one of them had a Cadfael bald spot on the top of her head and the other one had the goofiest teeth imaginable, and they were a rather interesting shade of beige. Thanks Andy for giving me flash backs.
  5. I bet there are some that wish ML had taken over them instead of us.
  6. Did AP not say that he had spoken to Adam in the summer and put it to him that either he will end up polishing a bench with his bum for a couple of years, or he could put himself on the stage for a couple of years scoring goals, and then join straight into the first team, if he wants? If not he should have done. It makes sense to me to stay.
  7. Big John Thanks for the help my friend. I used the theme that you set to state that: 'They are right, I am not here to coach them, and that they are too clever for that. They are probably doing my things intuitively already...' You are right though, it is interesting stuff. It is to help coach the workforce on site to help reduce our accidents. And Milton is really deep and when you get into it, but it don't half work.
  8. If you were expecting a match stick model of the Milton ends from days gone by, sorry this isn't about that, I am afraid. Does anyone understand the concept of Milton Ericksons model and if so can you help me with a question I have to answer as part of a course I am on. It is, 'Using the Milton Model, what would be the correct response to the statement 'YOUR NOT COMING HERE TO COACH ME'. Any help duly appreciated.
  9. Just got to be happy with the score. Once upon a time I would see one nil and think,'That is it, we've spunked it.' Now its, 'It aint over yet,Boyo!!!!" Shame I am on a course tomorrow or I would walk into work, look at my two skate Humunculae and sack them again, just to take them back on again because I am so happy, and I feel sorry for them losing their manager. As the man said, woo-oot. But I am afeared that Lallana will be a tempting target come January. I only hope he sees what Pardew told him is the truth and he stays. I must feel better to be playing first team football, scoring for fun and getting screams of adulation from the fans, than being stuck in the reserves and not seeing the light of day, even if the cash is good. Rambling now. Gotta go
  10. No, sorry not now. We have better and I could only see him upsetting the apple cart. best to stick with what we have
  11. Maybe we should have a sticky called : Lasy Jurnlism (spelt this way), Shame the Street of Shame, where we log all the mistakes, inaccuracies and down right ****** that the jurnos print or broadcast of us. What do you say? Mods, a good idea, maybe? Or shall I just get my coat.
  12. CB Fry, my apologies if he has, I have just not heard him say anything about the top six to my memory, just that this season was for consolidation. So I stand corrected.
  13. Well, talk about the *Pattellar Reflex. In answer to SaintRichmonds' tirade against Alan Pardew: It is now quite obvious to me that SFC NEVER had any intention of going for a play off position this season. It would be nice if you could point out where he stated that we would be pushing for a play off place. Consolidation in this league is the target for this season I believe, as stated by him and Cortez. B) IF you had told us a few months ago, that you were not going to bother this season, then it would have saved a lot of us Supporters a lot of money I think you should see above, as I believe they did say that very thing. It is also obvious that this season's "Ambitions" is purely for the Johnstons Paint Trophy, which I for one do not think you will be successful in. I don't see why not, we have already gone through to the next round, and have as much chance as the next team with the players we have, you have already mentioned that. An average of 20000 fans have stayed loyal to Saints, and to you Mr Pardew, and all you can do is put out a side that serves us up the Krap we had to endure against Brighton And so they should stay loyal. How many of these loyal fans will no longer stay loyal after one game now.? based on this forum it is 1 in 64. So, good bye 312 fickle fans, hello 1000 plastics and probably another 5000 returning now that the football is better, and confidence is high. I am a Season Ticket holder, but at this moment in time, I wish I wasn't, because I feel I have been duped Well, thanks for coming. It really has been a rollercoaster ride. So see you later, bye. And don't let the door hit you on the arse on the way out. You can go and support the big 4 now, as they never lose games. (*Note: The terrm, 'Knee Jerk Reaction', comes from the tendency of the knee to jerk involuntarily when hit sharply, properly called the patellar reflex. That was recorded by Sir Michael Foster in his Text-book of physiology, 1877: "Striking the tendon below the patella gives rise to a sudden extension of the leg, known as the knee-jerk." The term began to be used figuratively from the early 20th century onwards.)
  14. I predict his future being that He will meet a tall dark stranger, and will come into some money!!!!! In truth I don't think he is going anywhere in the short term but his talent and ambition may just strip ours, time wise, and he will leave.
  15. Southampton 1-0 Brighton half time Then 1-1 at about 50 Mins Then Southampton 2-1 Brighton at about 78 mins Then finally Southampton 3-1 Brighton at about 92 mins Final score Southampton 3-1 Brighton
  16. Win,Yes!!!!! Connelly,Yes!!! Antonio,Yes!!! Gobern,No!!!!!!
  17. Was it my interpretation or was it a case of the 'belly is going to get us?'
  18. My opinion is that some teams we have come up against, (MK Dons) know what we play and will prepare for it, Stiffling us when we are in 4-5-1. Then we switch to 4-4-2 and they have to look to stiffle that, but perhaps will have to change players as well. They are playing our game by having to concentrate on what we are playing, and how to man or area mark. Now they will have to learn to stiffle us playing 4-5-1 and 4-4-2. Then we may switch to a 4-3-3 system. My point is that Pards is keeping the opposition guessing tectically but has an idea that should we start with 4-4-2 we have shot our bolt, so to speak.
  19. Yes, I think a Finger of Fudge would be just enough to give the kids (and us adults) a treat.
  20. And very small and neat
  21. It's full of Cadbury's goodness
  22. It's just enough you know to give the kids a treat.
  23. I would prefer a blast from the past and have a Finger of Fudge
  24. Totally agree. Winning has the ability to help overlook what is wrong, and people who wish to criticise are brushed aside. Why, even the Poopey supporters that work for me are in awe of what we are doing, and comment on the good feeling we must be feeling. one even mentioned that he has started seeing more Saints shirts in the 'Periphery disputed territories' than of late, (I think he is refering to Fareham, Gosport, IOW, Winchester). He has this theory that in these places they keep three shirts, One Southampton, One Portsmouth, and one Chelsea.
