  1. Don't you believe it, the natives were begging to be subjugated by the whites and have their land stolen from them. It's true, I seen it on yoo-toobe.
  2. Ian Smith wasn't a good leader for the Tories, he was never going to become PM and they should've realised that.
  3. and if you don't know which country they are from and they won't tell you?
  4. errrr Coventry WERE available around a similar time to when Marcus got involved. SISU nearly bought us and then turned their attentions to Coventry - IIRC.
  5. things is you could pretty much say that every season.
  6. Crazy, a few days ago he wouldn't have had a clue who Appleton is. Now he think's he's the messiah.
  7. who's desensitised? I said it was dreadful. What happened to a bit of stiff upper lip eh? cry babies like you are the reason this country is so fuxked up. Wow this tabloid style over-reaction lark is fun isn't it!
  8. I'm sure that would be quite easy if anyone was bothered to look. But remember football clubs are treated differently to normal companies. Any normal company would have been wound up months ago.
  9. Reading some posts on here I can only come to the conclusion that some people have too much anger and frustration in their lives that it spills over into pathetic over-reaction ranting on an internet message board. Chill out FFS. The boy did a pretty dreadful thing but does it really warrant the panic and wailing on here? Oh noes some kid did some graffiti, all teenagers are scum and the country has gone to pot, oh noes, run for the internet to vent your anger, oh noes.
  10. Ahhh, but you can enjoy watching Spain.
  11. Alpine, are you auditioning to become the Daily Mail's Austrian correspondent? You've got it all: the aggression and vitriol, the moral indignation, interspersed with mentions of socialism and bleeding hearts and underpinned with a conviction that Britain is on the ropes. You're a ****ing cartoon.
  12. Even if you can't access the advert on Ebay they could still well have it in their archives. I think you can make a Freedom of Information request for all data held on you - this might get you somewhere.
  13. Corp - come on you skate git, stop dancing around the real issues. What we want to know is whether or not you've got any inside gossip on the buring topic on everyone's lips at Fratton, the issue that keeps Limpdick awake at night, the thing that gets the Pompey internet warriors on edge, the one issue that once resolved holds the key to Pompey finally competing this season - what I mean is: any news on the more economical toilets to be installed in the North stand? What says your high-up at Pompey source that you see socially every few weeks?
  14. Always think it is bit stupid when managers moan about 'sloppy goals'. Looking at Posh's goals conceded tally this season you can better you bottom dollar that they've let in plenty of 'sloppy goals'. The conclusion is that their defenders and/or their coaches aren't that good - which is probably why they're playing for Posh in the first place and not at a higher level.
  15. When you look at them in isolation most chants are a bit stupid. However, they're just a bit of fun, some people need to chill out. If you don't enjoy a particular chant don't join in or better still start a different one.
  16. The "investment" in the training ground - are we 100% sure that this came from Pompey and not the landlord? Seems strange to spend a lot of money improving something that you rent no?
  17. A win is a win. Could have won by a few clear goals but ultimately it is 3 points that matters.
  18. That's fine but there was a post on here a while back which detailed the response from a senior policeman explaining their approach - the gist of which was that it was unfair to keep away fans in the ground after a match - I'm not sure but "human rights" may have been mentioned. I was at the last two matches we played at their excuse for a stadium and there wasn't any trouble outside the ground involving Saints supporters. The need for a bubble for Saints fans is highly questionable.
  19. It's ridiculous, last time we played there I walked to the game (not in colours) and slipped through the cordon into the away end with no problem. Police change the rules when it suits them.
  20. That's a bit simplistic, the wider Teesside area has a population of 365,000.
  21. Given some of the complete ****wit royals that we've had to endure over the years its probably Royalists who are flying the flag for stupidity. Economics has **** all to do with it, you either think it is appropriate to have a hereditry and unelected head of state or you don't. In any case you can easily make a good financial argument for abolishing the Royal family - selling the numerous Royal estates (Buck palace etc) and treasures could raise billions to be reinvested for the good of the country.
  22. Saw quite a few in Saints shirts, shouted out to a few while I waited at the 7 mile marker for my missus.
