If happens I will be happy. MLT back on board and someone within Pinnacle group must have some money to make it happen.

At the end of the day as long as our club Is saved I will be happy

I watched it too. Said the deal would be complete by Tuesday at the latest.

Also, Falkia's lawyers are dealing with some un-pleasant reporting from the Echo about him not having any money etc.

We've heard this a lot in the past 2 weeks, but once again, Le Tissier urged us to be patient and trust him.

Roll on Tuesday!

Great news yes, but, saying they've accepted the deduction, what does that really mean? Is it really saying they won't appeal? And does it mean they have assurances that there'll be no more penalties? Perhaps a compromise was reached with the FL?

about ruddy time.................it was getting ridiculous
Hold your horses. The deal's not complete yet. Also if I remember correctly TL stated that once the -10 points issue was out the way then the Pinnacle group could immediately sign the deal. Why the delay? Surely they can complete the deal this weekend? I really do hope they prove all the sceptics wrong, including me because what's most important is the survival of SFC.

Well, that depends on your stance reference the credibility of Pinnacle, and that they are the best possible deal in both the short term and long term.

I am yet to be convinced, but atleast we may still have a club.

I thought the same, then remembered the one crucial fact that the banks are all shut until Monday ;)

Great news IF true and it is all sorted by Tuesday, thanks to the Swiss for putting the extra push on pinnacle & I only hope that the team fight for every available point on the pitch this season just as pinnacle have so far.

this needs to be sorted soon though, 6 weeks is not a long time to rebuild the club.

As much as i'd love that grotty little rag brought to account, my advice to Pinnacle would be to let it go and just concentrate on SFC.

Brilliant news hopefully it won't be another false start.

I agree they should concentrate on the football but the Echo has become a complete shambles in the last few weeks (even more than it was) and needs something to bring it back into line. so maybe this could be it

I hope there was some decent lubrication, ie no further points, involved in letting the FL **** them up the arse.

Cue the start of the 'we should of fought the f*ck*rs' posts..........on how Pinnacle should of taken a firmer stance with the FL, and not subjected Saints to a possible -25 points deficit...........

Being fair to me, I've always said they should fight the injustice of removing the right to appeal and would've supported them all the way.

To be honest, I am not entirely sure I care right now. I just want to support my team this season.

Me neither, I think like just about everyone else I just wanted Pinnacle to seal the deal with a 10 point or even 25 point deduction. Of course it matters but not to the extent we have no team ! I have remained positive throughout and hopefully that will now be rewarded though I will leave the champagne on ice until it is official!

I'm pretty convinced that the League wanted to impose a further points penalty on us, and as widely speculated, we have accepted a compromise (10 points deduction and no appeal).

After the past few days i've had enough.

At least you (or Stanley) have stopped going on about how great it was to be in administration.

Hopefully you will be able to gloat next week...

I will continue with my normal policy where Saints are involved' date=' it has served me well for 48 years of support, expect the worst and then be pleasantly surprised[/quote']

I was going to say , I'll 'echo' that, Mike, but I won't use that word at the moment. Instead I'll say, after 46 years of support (you've got two on me), I totally agree with you!

Sorry but until this is done by the people that matter i dont believe a word Tony Lynam says, SSN says or any of the 'ITK' pratts on this forum say (I received a call from someone in the club blah blah love myself more than chocolate blah blah blah - you know who you are)

We are a sorry state, with even sorrier fans and a bunch of bigger drama queens you'd be hard pushed to find

I'll believe when I see it too. But unlike several others, I won't be second guessing, or putting in my 6 pence worth, based on hearsay and what the Echo or SSN said, and reading incorrectly between the lines. I'll wait. Because realistically that's all I can do.

Just as I'm also biting my fingernails over a bid on ebay at this moment. ;)
