Where do you look first??

In the past mainly used the official site. Always viewed here for the gossip though. When we went into admin finally paid up my £5 for on here. Sure im not in the minority on that one!

TBH forums can be a tad annoying with all the supposed ITK posted, but for updates like Pichards yesterday its priceless. Never would you get stuff like that off the official site, without all the spin. Mind you times may be changing?

Here every time.

If there's something official, then there's bound to be a link or brief recount of the story.

And despite many false alarms, this place does have a decent record of insights and heads ups on breaking stories.

I don't think people should underestimate how informative and useful this site is (particularly to the many far flung Saints fans).

I look at both but spend much more time on here !

The OS is good for confirmation of actual deals etc.. but much of the rest is frankly boring !

Here it is (obviously) interactive so you get the chance to respond and agitate !!

Unlike .comsaint who looks at his waters first thing every day for all the news I start with BBC Sport followed by Newsnow Southampton. If there's nothing of interest I come to this site. Since MasterBates no longer does his early morning Echo thread no point of coming here till mid morning. I have to admit the OS started to improve but seems to have fell back again in the last few days due to the overload of stories they could put up.

*** How about it then all you 'ampshire Hogs? Living on the Costa del Solentnowadays thanks to Mister Liebherr and the Skates Sheik of Arabie. Let's hope we don't end up with any ethnic cleansing of Cherries and Brighton Fairies.

I use Newsnow as my first port of call followed by here for follow up etc (although you do get the odd story about TNS/St Mirren/St Helens)

Hardly ever the OS but it does seem to be improving of late

Me too, it's very quick with updates inc OS, but I always have the OS and this site open also.

I'm also supporting a team in another european country. There it isn't a question about where to go first. it's the club site every time. It's authoritative, entertaining and first with every bit of news every time, but then the club doesn't leak rumours like a sieve as Saints have done through the years. Things seem to have changed in that respect judging from recent events.

OS has been hopeless for years in being a conduit for whoever was in charge of the club and never, ever offering a controversial, or even interesting, word about anything. Can't blame them though, they would have been sacked.

I'm now looking forward to the club and the fans coming much closer together so that it becomes natural to check OS as the number one choice. Could there be a proper official supporter's club on the cards?

There are several things the new regime needs to sort, quite apart from creating a winning team, which must be the first objective. But then there is OS, the beer and catering on the concourse (yuck!), the match programme, and I could probably think of more. I'm nevertheless happy to think that this time we will get it right.

I look here, there an everywhere

what i do not accept is tha the echo lifts its stories from here...if they do, it is very few and non event stories to fill the columns

they bloody do.

I've even seen them lift posts from here word for word and print them, saying that they were apparently taken from the echo website. Now, those posts may have also been made on the echo website, but then again, maybe not.
