No Saints Shirts at the Tests

Seen plenty of other colours but no sashes.

Are there any available in the Saints stores in town. Need an XL. Still unavailable on the online store and I'm up in London.

Failing that anyone want to lend me one? I'll be at the Boxing Day Test, if all goes to plan. I'll courier it back washed and ironed. Looks like it'll be a sweaty one.

Emigrating this Tuesday to Melbourne. :?

I'm not sure ironing a football shirt is the best idea I've ever heard...

haha shows how long ago I last wore a footy shirt

got a 76 anniversary shirt boxed away somewhere, never worn oh and somehow I've never been able to chuck the home and away Pony tick shirts which really were pony. Bought as a joke because I hated them so much by the then girlfriend who had a weird sense of humour. Then again, she was from Lovedean.

They won't be going down under

Chin - Richmond for 5 weeks then bayside if Mrs B has her way. I suspect the budget will have more of a say.

Will be watching Corky

hahaha now there's a surprise dp

worth a try lrl

We lived just up the road from Richmond in South Yarra - Alexandra Avenue on the banks of the Yarra. Pretty busy main road (more so now due to the tolls on the SE Arterial) but great location. There are some great locations in and around Melbourne. Bayside, as in Sandringham? I liked it round there.

Was at the first Test in Brisbane in the stripes. Saw one other Saint there, a Sheff U and a Mackem. Bright Spark wore the Sash. Cookie was there as well. It's at the Brisbane Roar you see most Saints - about 30 of us all told. And no Skate shirts anywhere. Saints are easily the best supported British side in Brisbane, apart from Celtic.

fook missed that

just in from Cast at Shepherds Bush

I was there last night, cracking gig really enjoyed it. In regards to shirts at the cricket they're not the most comfortable things to wear in the heat, I was over there for Melbourne and Sydney last time, represented saints with saints on tour st Georges cross flag on display where possible, also took it to India 2006. One thing for sure you can always guarantee a skate pops up to make a comment whenever the flag gets put up.

When I last went to Brizzy in 2009 to visit my uncle and auntie, I saw about 3-4 Saints shirts at the airport. Then, on the drive to their house, I saw about 10 kids playing football in the park and about 7 of them were wearing Saints shirts, with one Celtic, one United and one Liverpool shirt. During the two weeks that I stayed, I must have seen in the region of 50 different people wearing Saints shirts. I was a little disappointing to see this wasn't converted at the Test - any Brizzy residents out there, can you tell me has this depletion of Saints fans since last year got anything to do with some of the decisions that Nicola Cortese has made over the past year? I'm willing to stake quite a bit that it has.

I know a few people that live in Bristol and they've never mentioned a big Saints support in the area. Surprised you saw as many as you did!!

That was me on tv in the saints shirt when Pietersen celebrated his double century! Had plenty of messages from mates saying they saw me on tv! Have got my saints flag hanging at Adelaide and will do at Melbourne and Sydney as well!

Seen a few saints fans dotted around and as per normal, plenty of skates...

If anyone is ever considering going to an ashes game in OZ, its amazing, just like an away game with the barmy army!

Will keep the saints shirt flying over here!

Walked out of the apartment Mrs Y booked us into today for a stroll into town and found we're about 500 yards from the MCG, result. Was going to go for the afternoon session against Victoria but this jetlag is killing me. Popped back for a power nap and was out till 7. Looks like I'll have to wait to Boxing Day for the first cricket fix. I'll be looking out for the Saints On Tour lads
