Give it time for **** sake. Its only been a couple of hourse since Pearce was recalled after being told he can stay for a month. Give it a week or so for us to get someone else in before you start having a go.

Classic proof of some of the ridicoulous hatred for our club at the moment from our own fans. Anything that happens, however how small or how impossible to react to in a couple of hours will somehow come back to this club being **** and Lowe, Jan and McGoldrick being behind it all.

FACT, he IS going back, this is 100% OFFICIAL, every single person in the entire footballing world has released an OFFICIAL STATEMENT signed by the entire FA committee stating that the above statement is FACT, FACT.

Take the piiss as much as you want. There is no news forthcoming, and the Pearce situation proves nothing is certain.

I reckon Cork is gone. You carry on clutching at straws.

Nothing is certain. So its not certain Cork is staying, its not certain he is going. Wait and see you knob.

Pearce has been recalled.

Killer is not going to be fit as long as he has a hole in his arse.

Thomas wont play this season, imo.

Lancashire simply aint up to it.

Down to the bare bones - AGAIN.

Same Shiit, Different Saints..........

Same poster, same doom-laden pessimistic post.

A new year is just around the corner Alpine, why not make a new year's resolution to try and be less bloody miserable?

i thought the idea of total football was anyone could play anywhere

That is why we (and 99.9% of teams) do not play total football.

I don't know where this idea came from. Is it just because JP and Wotte are Dutch?

Even the great Brazilian side of 1970 did not play total football.

When was the last time you saw a Dutch team playing total football?

They did it for a while many years ago when they had the players who could do it.

It came from JP himself. During the every first interview I saw with him, when asked what sort of football Saints were going to play, he said "Total Football".

Rumours are we might see Baird as part-ex for Surman with Fulham.

A morale move by Lowe to pacify the masses....? Certainly I would find it difficult to believe Jan would make that choice.

Still, would like to see Bairdy back. He's a capable CB at CCC level, despite being primarily a RB.

Can't help but think this is the kind of player we should be after on loan.

I do hope Lowe allows Poortvliet to bring in some defenders because at the minute we're very stretched.

Can't help but think I'd prefer someone older than 18, however promising Hoyte may be. We need experience at CB, all the more so if Perry were to get injured or suspended.

Didn't Baird feature for Fulham against Spurs the other day, and help them keep a clean sheet?

Seems that he's come back in from the cold there so I'd be very surprised if he was to come back here.

Personally I think Lancs is a better defender than Pearce. Both very young of course. I expect Alps knows better than me though. Although Alps reminds me a lot of ARP Warden Hodges also in terms of his incessant and near hysterical yelping.

I am quite sure that people in charge at SFC are aware of CB issues and will do what they can to fill the holes. It would be wholly ridiculous to think otherwise.

Yes, of course. Problems filling the CB slots are totally unheard of at SFC arent they ??:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Wow that amazes me as I think Lancashire is weak, poor in the air and beaten very easily. He is better on the ground than Pearce for passing but this league games are mainly won in the air.

Pearce has been one of the only players that wins headers in both boxes and for me will be missed.

Yep. Who was our last CB to come up and get goals with a header ? Killer, probably......

He's on premier league wages though isn't he so it's obviously not going to happen is it.

he is right though, as he was at the start of the season and the one before that.

Perry got one earlier in the season against Brum.

Lancashire has a bright future IMO, but at this point he is not strong enough, we need height and a ball winner.

the don't want him so they are going to do a deal on his wages. After his poor showings for Fulham I doubt any other club rate him as high as we do.

Not wishing to defend Alpine but out of interest do you see anything factually incorrect in his post?

What, apart from the fact that he assumes that nothing will be done about the situation???

Obvioulsy the people who run the club hadn't seen what Alpine had picked up, but now that he has identified the problem I am sure someone from the club will do something about it.

Fair comment however could I ask if we have a recognised Right Back at the club yet?
