Trump and his incompetent arse-kissing cronies are nowhere near smart enough for that narrative to be anywhere near accurate. The kidnapping of Maduro and his wife are a smokescreen ; I doubt that "narco terrorism" is even defined in the US Penal Code.

This is about 3 things: Trump looking tough on drugs without actually putting the effort in to address the real sources in Mexico; The oil , ( repeat ad nauseum ) - Trump does nothing that does not make him money, directly or indirectly; Showing his base voters in MAGAStan that he is their man of action, and flexing the US's military strength as a warning and intimidation to both allies and enemies whilst totally ignoring the norms of International relations..

It's also to some extent about Iran, which loses a lot more than Russia here (paticularly if Russia has actually been promised a reciprocal bounty in Ukraine).

Maduro was Iran's money laundering machine. The Ayatollahs rinsed billions through Venezuela each year.

As said previously, the actual "war" (although unlikely to be a full scale war) that is planned for this year is US/Israel v Iran and Houthis.

Yep. This about controlling the flow of money and oil, and pegging down Iran, China, Russia, India, etc. The impact of the inability to trade oil is massive. Countries that need cheap oil don't get it, countries that need money don't get it, that cripples already crippled economies , pushes them to print money, pushes up inflation, leads to debt default, and it all leads to civil unrest. That brings down countries. 

There's far more to this than the simple "Trump wants more than Venezuela's oil". Whether he wants it I'm unsure, but he definitely wants to control who does and doesn't get it, and where the money goes.

Unbelievable. So the same bloke who approached her, shot her dead, and remained on his feet was "viciously" run over.

I expect that Trump will call the video “fake.” The ICE agent needs to be charged with murder. At least Putin’s henchmen have the decency to make it look like their victims have met with “unfortunate accidents.” 

Anyone see the footage of Trump’s interpretation of a trans person weightlifting? This is the most powerful person on the planet and he and his supporters think that it is perfectly reasonable to act like that on a public platform. He needs medical help and should be removed from office immediately.

The agent fired 2 "defensive" shots into the back of a car that was driving away from him. Kristi the dog murderer says the woman was attempting to "ram the officers" after they had got stuck in the snow - absolute fabrication and completely at odds with all the videos from the scene.

She was the mother of a 6 year old child. They could have checked her license plate quickly and discovered that she was no threat. She clearly did not try to run anybody down and was actually waving the ICE vehicle through shortly before she was shot at very close range.

The ACLU advise that you should wind down your window just enough that you can ask why you are being requested to exit your vehicle, but if the ICE officer insists you should get out, keeping your hands visible. They warn that ICE may not act as reasonably as you might expect the Police to do, and may break the windows of the car to gain access and remove you physically, ( which the Police are not permitted to do, unless threatened ).

I don’t think ICE have any powers to detain or arrest or impede anyone unless they believe they are an illegal immigrant or are assisting / harbourin illegal immigrants.

Most of these ICE officers are just dumb-fucks who were enticed in recently. They are not trained and clearly they know they are not accountable. 

After this incident, they got in the cars and just drove off. No preservation of the scene, no expectation of enquiry, no need for the murderer to hand over his gun... just went on with their day.

It's about time people took the threat of this administration seriously. They will ruin the US but they are coming for other countries and their backers will also push cunts like Farage onto us.
