It's not just the bloaed sprawl that PIP has become; an assessment system that asks somebody with a severe eating disorder if she can prepare food, ( she can for her husband and children ), or someone with a history of self harm about their ability to handle a knife, needs reforming.

They’re violent thugs in both instances with no justification so I don’t see why not. The Henry Nowak ‘protestors’ all had criminal records for violence as long Inspector Gadget’s arms and deserved anything they got for smashing up the city of my birth. Scum.

If last night bottles and objects were thrown at the police because they lost a football match then throw the book at them too and quickly. Copper don’t tend to like people who assault coppers from any background.

 I’m sure Keir and Sadiq are on the case right now with the Met and CPS making sure the courts are open this weekend to process the convictions in the rapid timely manner we’ve become accustomed to

Good point the North Africans rioting would have been doctors, engineers or NHS workers who just got abut carried away. Given the enrichment they’ve given our culture it’s probably better to turn a blind eye this time

It wasn’t as high profile because it didn’t have the likes of Tommy Robinson and Laurence Fox rabble rousing outside of the central police station with all of the media scrum which follows, so logically the reporting of arrests and court cases will be lower key accordingly. It can’t really compete with the seeming murder either of a former cabinet minister and national celebrity can it?

The Met will throw the book at them because if you attack a copper with a bottle, that’s almost certainly HMP time.

That wasn't his point...he said the highest predicted economic growth in the European G7. He's correct - source, the IMF and the OECD...for 2026 and 2027. 

That said, the IMF have given us the biggest growth upgrade of all G7 nations. The others have all stayed as they were or been downgraded. 

It ain't great, but it's not as bad as the echo chambers will have you believe.

Its not the highest predicted growth from what I've read. We are predicted a 1% growth, up 0.2% from the 0.8% growth previously predicted for 2026 is what I read. Genuinely interested - do you have a link to this confirming we have the highest predicted G7 growth for '26 and '27?
