I think we'd have won the league, or at least pushed Leicester really, really hard. It was a tough season with 4 run aways, but we were the 4th placed team when we really shouldn't have been if we're honest.

I only ever saw us as a playoff side, we were never truly in that auto race - always on the fringes, which was pretty frustrating. The last min wins against Millwall, Watford, Birmingham etc really papered over some cracks - they were great and all, but we did struggle in most games we played I always felt. We were never comfortable.

Out of 46 games, I only really remember Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea, Blackburn and Preston as being comfortable wins. The rest were utter slogs.

I wonder how many busses have engines at the ready in preparation for multiple players being thrown under them?

Meghoma seems to have gone off script already, very direct and putting balls in from deep. Not long before a player's revolt.

Sadly, it also shows how inept SR are that they fell for this charlatan

It struck me last night watching Charlie for Everton, getting stuck into contests and driving forward at every opportunity, Martin couldn’t wait to get him out the door.

Losing Alcaraz was a travesty. Martin was a prick for how he treated him.

First time I’ve seen them under Martín. Blimey, what a shambles. Looks of total bewilderment on the faces of players and fans alike. Short of a miracle he’s a goner surely.

Their results against the other top sides are also worrying. They were soundly beaten 5-0 and 4-1 by Leicester and also lost both games to Ipswich. They did beat Leeds every time, which may well have had an impact on him getting the job.

If there's going to be a chance it all comes together, he needs to make sure this Rangers side are more defensively solid than the previous teams he's managed. There's a real risk that otherwise we will get a few doing's, in Europe and against them.

Astute observations there from that Rangers fan. The only thing he missed is the reason we beat Leeds 3 times, and that was because we were coming off the back of a run of poor results each time, and it was the only time that Martin relaxed / parked his 'Russball' tactics for those games.
