I can see downs getting a lot of conversions with head shots this coming series. The wide receivers getting high balls into the penalty zone for Downs to apply offensive pressure on the goal tender should lead to conversion chances. He’s one of the best Goal Convertors in North America so just wait until match day 1, let’s go Damian Downs!

‘Hey, I scored a touchdown!’

’No Damian, that’s handball and a yellow card’

Tbh the fan base didn’t give him hardly much of a chance before getting right on his back, which probably didn’t help things .. I did like his off the shoulder runs think we need to try get his confidence up as it looked shot

Damian needs to find his level and boost his confidence at least a couple of leagues down and allow himself the luxury of scoring a goal. He sure as hell will not be doing that in the Championship. Perhaps Eastleigh or Sholing could take him on loan?

His level is the same as Baz’s.

Difference is we had 3,years of seeing how shit baz was downs has only actually had 1 actual start and the rest of the bench .. seems a bit brutal criticism of a guy who’s started one match

He is very fast though, just not with the ball. Maybe he can defect to England and train with them to raise his game

They’ve relaunched it recently. I don’t remember the original but I’m happy to confirm the relaunch is absolute gnat’s piss. 3 of my four pack went down the sink.

He ran around a lot. I think that’s all I can really say about his performance last night.

World class movement, world class dummy for the second goal, when the rest raise themselves to his level we’ll see the best of him

Watneys. Like Double Diamond it’s back to be able to buy https://www.facebook.com/sixties.timemachine/posts/who-remembers-watneys-party-seven/2003693479684950/

Going by footage of the Dell in the 1960s and early 1970s, their name came seem on the East Stand roof and hoardings. Probably what was on sale.

In part, the Watneys product Red Barrel was allegedly so fizzy, cloying and generally terrible it led to formation of CAMRA.

Sadly more of a spectator sport for me these days although I have just treated myself to a can of Murphys and I may well open a bottle of Fleurie that we brought back from the vineyard four years ago. But alcohol does not play a large part in my life.

I’m not sure he’ll make it as a footballer in England as long as he’s got a hole in his arse.

If someone reposts this at the end of the season when he’s scored 15 goals I’ll be more than happy to be proved wrong.

Watneys also did Starlight which was rumoured to be so weak that if could be classified as a soft drink.

The Sunday Mirror reported that it could have been legally sold in US during prohibition.
