FFS... Note to self: don't take a sip of coffee just before reading optimistic posts on the Saintsweb forum!

I suggest in future you would do well take notice, I know things…..

How long did it take for some of to to choose your wife...some are probably still looking for the right fit?

Love that he scowls through the whole game, not sure i have seen a goal celebation from him? Seems all business and no luaghing and hugging until the job is done!

More than two ok dates and one good date.

What an incredible performance yesterday (the first half was just amazing) Tonda is doing such a great job 😊 He used the two week international break perfectly to set us up. A mixture of aggression, pace, movement and clinical finishing meant we won big. All our goals were class. Adam Armstrong and Leo were sensational 😊Azaz and Fellows were great 😊 Bragg and Jander outstanding 😊 Manning's header from Fellows cross was so good 😊 one wing back cross to another. COYR 😊

I woke up this morning thinking Saints won a game of football by a 5-1 scoreline yesterday. Did this really happen, or was it all just a dream?

That’s a good point you make. Really sounds like what in the 70’s was referred to as “Total Football”. Tonda style.

But can we expect it every week ?

Yes, and I'd add THB just for the long-range pass out of defence to set up Caspar Jander's goal. It was inch-perfect for AA.

No but some will.

What has the interim manager got to do to convince doubters. Three wins on the trot after it looked like we were relegation prospects and players looking like they had thrown in the towel.  What more can you want? Could a new man do any better. If it ain't broke don't fix it

I’m in agreement!

He could win nine of his next ten and some will so go “Tonda is shit”, but clearly there is something clicking. Would be foolish to change it if we keep on this trajectory over the next few games.

What is this obsession with saying people think he's shit?

Somewhere in a parallel universe maybe 🙂

Manning got underneath it and nearly put it over the bar. Still, it went in and that is all that matters.

Having watched the highlights, it seems Armstrong was key to this performance/result. Dropping deep, receiving it and putting the ball through for the other forwards to run onto. Was quite sublime to watch, must've been awesome live. Like a knife through butter. Makes you wonder why the actual fuck we haven't been doing it the rest of the season! It's not like Charlton are total shite either, but we made them look like cunts. Makes a change from us looking like that I guess.

Not in the same half. Neither were the 6-0 wins at Wolves and Oldham, or 5-1 at Bristol Rovers.

The only other games I remember us scoring away at this rate were Wolves away (won 6-2) in 1976, and Carlisle (6-0) in 1977.

Haven’t been able to see the HT scores on either but don’t recall us scoring 5 in the first half.
