Just to get properly back on topic - are there any serious football options for a new manager out there atm?

Appreciate that's not what SR want but maybe, just maybe Dragan will come to his senses after another couple of humiliations...

Dragan has 2 options.

1: Remove whoever is the problem at the club (we all have our suspicions). Hire an experienced football director who knows the English leagues and say: find an experienced manager to rebuild the squad, remove the bellends, win games and get us promoted.

2: Let Rasmus and Spors continue.

Though in regards to Spors, he’s been around at various clubs in Europe and I believe he has his hands tied here. He has found us some good players but also made some huge cock ups. Would consider giving him another chance.

We don’t we will have Tonda for a while he is Spors choice it’s what we pay for having him make the football recruitment decisions .

Unless Spors goes we will let Tonda grow into the role.

No chance on that one bit lose next 2 he’s gone

In the know?!

I see SR dithering for another few games easily enough.

Not after Saturday when fans were all against them can’t see it if we lose next 2

We are talking about the people who dithered for more than half a season over Martin when we were record-breakingly shit.

While they sat still because of charts against the board and if we lose tomorrow and Sunday he will probably more likely be gone

Been reading Gareth Southgates book. He was honest enough to say that he wasnt ready for the Middlesbro job and needed to learn his trade first. Maybe SR should heed the lesson and stop appointing inexperienced managers

If we lose the next 2 our form since mid December will have been so bad I'm not sure they'll have much choice. But if SR finally stop being twats and get someone with experience in, they have to back them to ditch any of the squad they don't want, implement discipline and so on. Otherwise we'll be back here again in 2 months.

Sport Republic want a head coach. Not a manager.

For that reason, prospective candidates will either be desperate or content to be a scapegoat, a yes-man and have a quick pay day six months later.

All roads lead to Rasmus.

He should be the focus of the fans protests to begin with.

Have to wonder, what autonomy if any Spors has.

I love the fact he was honest in hindsight!  He still took the job and money though didn't he?

And left Still in place for about a month too long. (Six months in my book).

At the rate we get through managers - any manager that manages to last six months has done an incredible job.

I actually think Johannes Spors, as much as his transfer signings have been a bit hit and miss, and his two managerial candidates not being that great, I actually think he’s doing a lot of his work with one arm tied behind his back.

I 100% think there is a power struggle between Rasmus Ankersen and Spors in terms of football oversight/responsibilities.

if we lose tonight  i think Tonda will be gone .

Lallana will be given the job to the end of the season with Romeu as his no 2 .

They won’t want Adam and Oriol’s first game to be FP - unless it’s another Boro 0-4 or 0-5 tonight. But agree that they will be in charge after that.

Ramus isn’t involved much with  southampton anymore

He may not be putting the cones out at Staplewood or doing anything on a daily basis, but his influence seems to be all over the football side, with the data driven approach etc.

Unless of course you know otherwise (from another reliable source you can share perhaps?)

Apart from the history of appointments.

They’ve had two opportunities to appoint a ‘proper manager’ in the last twelve months and both times have appointed young coaches to a position beyond their experience.

Looks fairly good circumstantial evidence or track record to show the sort of ‘head coach’ they want.

Seems a good summary of where we are, and the crossroads Dragan has reached

How are Goose Step doing in the Turkish league? If they're doing any good let's just do a Chelsea and take their manager.

A quick search reveals they're in 4th...

Welcome, Stanimir Stoilov!

Welcome, Stanimir Stoilov!

Wouldn't fit in as played professionally at a decent standard back in the day.

*Going on the last two appointments...
