Yeah we all need the 3 minute pause It's just a way of creating a 4 quarter game as per American football to squeeze in adverts. Watch this space for whether it carries on after the world cup. 1

sockeye Posted yesterday at 21:36 Posted yesterday at 21:36 Sugawara on. Come on you Saint (although maybe soon to be no more as the official account hasn't mentioned him at all)!

Patrick Bateman Posted yesterday at 21:49 Posted yesterday at 21:49 And how many times is this stupid ref going to get in the way?? Dick.

Noticed this quite a bit this WC especially in the Germany game earlier. Much as I quite like the addition of "Ref Cam", I wonder if them getting in the way has something to do with the new cyborg-esque camera attached to their heads. Edited 21 hours ago by SNSUN
SNSUN Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago A sneaky win from Ivory Coast. They and Norway are my dark horses to do well in the tournament this year. Thriller coming up at 3am - Sweden vs Tunisia. Surely Isak and Gyokeres will be too much for Tunisia... stay tuned peeps. I'll be watching.

Got a decent bet reliant on those two doing well - Isak 2+ shots on target, Gyokeres 1+ shot on target and both players to score anytime, 31/4. Tenner returns 80 something quid. 1

I think Tunisia will be a tricky opponent but you can't argue with Sweden's firepower, even if Isak has been off it a bit since his injury.

Could get worse for Tunisia
Saint_clark Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago No idea who the woman presenting is on ITV but she's absolutely grating on me, doing the pretentious thing that I really hate where she's putting over the top accents on words to make sure everyone knows that she knows how to say them, even Carney seemed pissed off with her then when she suggested not being critical of a player because it was his first world cup.
East Kent Saint Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Tunisia goalkeeper making Baz look a good shot stopper ! First one he waves his arms at the ball , second managed to let the ball go over his hand !

Saint_clark Posted 18 hours ago Posted 18 hours ago Potter is going to sub Isak off before he gets another shot on target, you watch. Come on just a pea roller into the keepers arms will do.

They have some quality particularly in attack. I still think one of the big boys will win the tournament (France are my tip) but it wouldn't be a surprise to see a so-called lesser team like Sweden do well. A quick look at some of the attacking talent of the big boys though shows you all you need to know about their chances. France - Mbappe, Dembele, Olise, Doue... the list goes on. England - Kane, Saka, Bellingham Germany - Musiala, Havertz, Wirtz Argentina - Messi, Alvarez, Martinez Spain - Yamal, Williams, Pedri For me it'll be one of those 5 based on attacking talent - I think France's all round team is best though. 1
