Lighthouse Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Fourth vs fifth, they’ve won three out of their last four, so certainly won’t be easy. I expect a small amount of rotation, possibly Downes starting if fully fit.
bangkoksaint Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I’m very much a glass half empty person so I’d take a point away there now 3
AlexLaw76 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago Downes will surely come in....that will be it I reckon
Harry_SFC Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago (edited) I'd take a draw but our away form seems to have improved massively, so I think we've got a decent chance here. Personally I'd go strong for this one and maybe rest a few against an awful Preston side. As good as Bragg was today if always want Downes in an away game against good opposition. Peretz, Bree, Stephens, Schlotterbeck, Manning, Downes, JWP, Azaz, Scienza, Matsuki, Dobbin. Edited 13 hours ago by Harry_SFC
sfc4prem Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago We'll give them a good fucking game, I know that for sure. As always, away from home against a fellow top-half team, i'd take a point.
Barton Saint Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I would give Mubama a start as I think Dobbin will get muscled off the ball; Start Sam as well instead of Leo bring him on after an hour Otherwise no changes despite a tough week and rotation inevitable
Pamplemousse Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Massive game - they're really good. Unlike Swansea and QPR who I think are in false positions, they're the real deal. A point would not be a terrible result - we get a win and that would confirm our top 2 ambitions.
SouthWalesSaints Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago Only 150 tickets left of the 2600 allocated. Biggest game of the season so far, I feel we’ve a great chance of closing gap on top 2 if we can take 6 points from the rest of this week. Larin and Jander both out until after the international break. 1

Hmm, Larin getting two weeks of recovery in the UK, or flying out to Canada, onto Guatemala, back to Canada then back to the UK.... Interesting concept.
Saint Fan CaM Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago Got draw written all over it this one. 2-2. Although I wouldn’t rule out a 2-1 or 1-2 if either Manager gets the tactics/teamsheets right.

Jack Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago 6 minutes ago, Pamplemousse said: I think their result at West Ham confirms their status as a promotion candidate - Swansea and QPR against stronger opposition have wilted Maybe it just confirms that this West Ham team hasn’t got the stomach for the fight in the Championship? I haven’t seen much of West Brom this season other than a lucky win at Norwich and looked pretty poor against Wolves. Obviously their results are very solid and improving.

The only team in this league who can legitimately claim to be in a false position is us. 6
OneMrsWallace Posted 10 hours ago Posted 10 hours ago I'm going for an away win, we will just be too strong for them.

Me too, and I agree a point would be a decent result but we're doing so well to keep pace with the top it'd be great to beat them and take our great October form into November.

Football Special Posted 9 hours ago Posted 9 hours ago Jimmy-Jay Morgan to score against us. Tough game 1-1 prediction
coalman Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago It feels like almost every game is a test of our credentials. We're not as good on the road, without key players playing against a team bang in form who just beat the favourites and an ex player. If that's not the stars aligning against you I'm not sure what is. Then again we seem to perform well against teams at the top of the table.
St Chalet Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We are without a couple of key players but should have enough. It’s a great atmosphere at their place. First win for the shit blue kit?

First win for the shit blue kit? Can we wear it there if WBA also play in blue/white stripes (even if a different shade of blue)?

Larin and Jander both out until after the international break. Do you know whats happened to Jander again? I heard the same on Larin, he's hardly featured since last international break and I'd feared the worst of this scenario, fair play to Dobbin he's really stepped up and done well. A win at WBA would be absolutely massive result, especially when our following two matches are against the bottom two away to Preston then home to Derby. Hopefully we can shift the last few tickets, a packed away end that far away midweek when its live main game on sky is very impressive, should be a good atmosphere
Sheaf Saint Posted 42 minutes ago Posted 42 minutes ago 38 minutes ago, Badger said: Can we wear it there if WBA also play in blue/white stripes (even if a different shade of blue)? It's probably the biggest contrast out of all our three kits. The stripes of the home kit could be problematic even though all the other colours are different, and the third kit is probably too similar to the white of WBA's stripes and shorts. As much as I like this year's third kit, I'm still surprised we went with that for the final design because it limits our options in some situations. A classic yellow would have been much better IMO. 1
AlexLaw76 Posted 38 minutes ago Posted 38 minutes ago They are bang on it at the moment....but so are we (at home at least)....A draw would be good.
