Agree with this, Long especially will be brilliant next year, and sims. Much better than another season like this one.

Surprised by negativity on this, how many of you moaning have seen him play more than 2-3 times? He’s exactly what we need, if he comes, we should support him, and want him to do well, not start moaning because he is tall and strong. It gives us the personnel to play two up and makes us much more versatile.

We need to consider our goal difference here. 11 men behind the ball, anything better than -4 would be a bonus. Maybe we could come to a gentleman’s agreement and just let them win 3-0. Alternatively, what’s the penalty if we don’t turn up?

If you are unsure whether it is true, how does it prove anything? It is possible that saints seeded both stories, one for the fans, one for the other clubs, we can negotiate better deals ourselves if we are not obviously cash rich. It’s 70m guaranteed anyway, so great deal either way.

I guess what I’m trying to say is, it’s more than 2-3. And, actually, he was dreadful for a few games near the beginning, first touch was horrific.
