I don’t think RB could have made a funnier response! Thanks for adding to the laughs.

Cannot vote on the app but would be sack for me as he has shown only a glimmer of competence in a couple of games. That may be due to the opposition giving an opportunity for the team rather than some excellent team management and tactical set up! There are some managers that would be worth a go for the short term. However, I believe that the club will stick with him irrespective of relegation or survival. He may not be the root cause of the current issues at the club but I can not see him help fixing any of them. The squad is reasonably, missing a few important/strong characters but the worry is that they will not be filled appropriately and there doesn’t seem to be the pathway to the first team anymore. It was one of the most important elements to help the club recruit youngsters and promising players but it seems to have the been abandoned.

The club make it worse by buying the manager’s pet player for double his worth. All it does is illustrate Pellegrino is here until at least the end of the season.

We didn’t beat any last year. We’ve fücked up other winnable home games to worry about getting the odd win against a top six side. It does show what a soft side we’ve become, if we’re not fighting for a result. Shouldn’t be to far of the top of the fair play league if that still exists.

The Carrillo signing means this inept manager is going nowhere. Unfortunately I expect him to lead the promotional push next season.

From klipperty Klopp: “I don’t think anyone at Southampton will say we’ve stolen him,” he said. “It was a very public deal and the numbers, even if they are not 100%, are OK so maybe they are really happy and they say: ‘Thank you for all the money we have now.’ Or it could be the other way around. It’s not only the players we have. Since I’m here if you ask half the Premier League: ‘Where is he from?’ they say: ‘Southampton.’ Ox [Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain] is from there, although he took a different way, Theo Walcott. There are good players from this area. Maybe we should have a scouting department directly in Southampton?” What a ignorant twät. Maybe they’ll have a fake supporter with a stunning CV of fandom and that he wouldn’t be seen except by his family.

Probably the first step to facilitate the 39th PL game while teams are touring Asia.

And as a leaving present, he can have a signed copy... Tactical Periodization is a methodology that trains soccer players through a logical process that focuses on four moments of the game. These four moments are: Offensive Organisation, the Transition from Defence to Attack, Defensive Organisation, and the Transition from Attack to Defence. Through Tactical Periodization, the aim is to develop players to rapidly alter their on-field behaviours according to the tactical context of the match, and what actually unfolds in front of them. In turn, every training exercise focuses on at least one of the four moments, and always the coach's tactical game model of how he wants his team to play. In doing so, football players prepare and learn how best to conquer the often unpredictable matches that they encounter competitively. This book is the English language translation of the acclaimed book Periodización Táctica by world-renowned coach and sports science specialist Xavier Tamarit.

This is it for me. Grateful for ML for saving us and establishing the framework for the club to succeed. KL trimmed back on expenditure (quite rightly - her prerogative) , however it seems to me the framework that built the club back up has been shelved for whatever reason or there was and still is a loss of focus. She wrote an open stating the club will be in good hands, it would have been better for her to stay silent on that matter, just like Gao himself.

-1 For buying a manager’s player. The club not sacking the clown.

They are all the same, unless you change to watch a different match.

Maybe it’s all a ploy so that the club move to plan Z, Samir Nasri who is now a free agent.

Time is up sticking with what he’s done so far.
-
Who’s signing him? He hasn’t done much for Chelsea and who knows what he’ll be like here apart from being confused like most of the first team players.
-
Totally agree. As it stands the most cohesive, well drilled team will likely win out against a side with more skillful players. IF MP continues to chop and change tactics and personal, we are more than likely going to stay where we are in the table and pot luck if we go down or stay up.

number seven gets my vote...

A few snores or a chorus of wake me up before you go-go. Left me sleeping In my seat. I was dreaming Of the shuffle and side-ways pass. Wake me up before you go go, Don't leave me hanging on like a yo-yo. Wake me up before you go go, I don't want to miss it when you hit that pass.

Time to get a bit of shooting practice in while the game birds are resting.

Liverpool set to replace Coutinho with.....!
Doctoroncall replied to The Saint's topic in The Saints
He’s a decent supporting player but not a game changer sort of player and needs others to help bring the skills out that he has, where as Redmond runs about a lot. -
From the information Reed is quoted as saying in the article, there was some departure to this Southampton Way in bringing in Koeman and we are now as far away from it as we could possibly be.

Les is vice chairman. Who is technical director? Is that Ross? I see Emenalo has resigned at Chelsea. A well liked and knowledgeable bloke.
