And that was mainly due to some of the big clubs arsing about. All the club can do is prepare a squad to be able to take advantage. This season has been difficult with European games, injuries to essential players but hopefully now the club understands what is necessary and can plan better for it for next time.
-
Why? As with any leagues in the home straight of matches there are many teams that have nothing to play for in regards to titles, European qualifications or relegation. Perhaps having another European competition and say six relegation places there would be something to play for besides teams trying to get to the highest position possible for each set of league matches. Unfortunately that isn't the case so we are left with the latter.

Is KL really entertaining the idea of relinquishing the ownership to him or is it smoke and mirrors while a deal is done with someone else?

Micah is for it: https://micahhall.wordpress.com/2017/05/03/reality-cheques And he says why.

Firstly, we need to finish the studies to understand what some of the additional ground problems are because we don’t yet know. Read more at: http://www.portsmouth.co.uk/our-region/portsmouth/brown-pompey-fans-can-continue-going-it-alone-1-7940386 So £5m is only an estimate no one would put their name too... yet there is no holding back on the playing budget being competitive. Priorities a bit upside down. Why save today just in case when you can spend it and have the capacity dramatically reduced. Or perhaps the tactic is if you want to watch the game pledge a grand.

Come on, the new community club has some success to celebrate for the first time. It maybe a long time for the next success having achieved promotion to the Big league.

Spoiler alert... Players value can go up as well as down due to performance.

Thanks Steve, do you know the overall situation - are they in debt or have surplus (Tesco money)? I must have been snagged by a Portsmyth thinking they were running at a profit... sorry guys!
-
They do have an academy, although not sure what grading it received, probably a three. Unless they have ditched it in the last season. That £10m squad value is a Storie figure, I would say it's half that in reality and that is being generous. The club hierarchy keep saying they have no debt, if fact run a profit the last couple of years. Is it the case they have to save up to afford the repair costs as credit is hard to come by or they cannot/do not want to put FP up as an asset against any borrowing?

If he could improve his shooting ability then he is the ideal replacement for Davis.

Is there a new Share options deal coming out?

Out of interest what career do you hope for with a degree in Football Studies?

Remember this club is new, only about 5 years old and has always been in league two.

He should have sold a few players, shake the team up a bit. Didn't buy that well and the defence has been woeful this season. Also shows what a player Kanté is. I think he ran the most in the PL last season.

Or Colchester. Lol.

Yep, don't care either way as there is fun to be had regardless. If they fall out of the playoffs that would be spectacular! I cannot see it myself and perhaps they can build up a record of playoff failure.

So they don't explain what critically injured means in this case. Good on Charlie for following up on the cyclist.
-
All been luckily promoted from League 2 on a smaller budget ahead of the mighty fan owned Portsmouth since they were wrongfully demoted to that division?
-
Any view on what looks like the club management failings in recruitment and strategy or are there any mitigating circumstances we are not aware off?
-
That's ok, the game is at Wycombe.

Hopefully the Real FA cup match last week has prepared them well for this cup final match.
-
Isn't that for the FA cup. The league cup has 31.5k allocated to each finalist.

Had a rib injury which required surgery which he had and is now fit again.
