  1. I'm sure they could sell out 10000 + at St Mary's if we offered them too especially as its their big local Derby % wise its the near enough same amount. The bigger difference is at the lager grounds where the likes of Arsenal, Spurs, Man Utd etc. only have to offer us 3000 out of 60000+ capacity's stadiums - the same we have to give them in a 30000 capacity stadium.
  2. Is this not the sort of thing a decent fans group should bring up . unfortunately we have or did have the Saints voice who as far as I can tell is just closed group who have or did have meatings with the club but did not tell anyone when they were , what was being discussed or if any other fans ( who they were supposed to represent according to their profiles ) wanted to bring something up .
  3. From when I was sat , with the sun shining it was hard to pick out at times Mayhave been ok watching on a stream /tv and at pitch level it may have been a big enough difference. certainly wasn’t that clear from my seat at the ground
  4. Yes agree with this, though i'd add Forest as selling out quite quickly too seeing as we've not played them for 10 years or so.
  5. Exactly this. We seem to bend over backwards for away fans for both league games and cup games where we give more tickets to away fans then required. Why do the club have to have stewards in the seats in block 1? there is a netting over seats between the dividing barrier and where the away fans sit as it is. Like others have said i cant see the club istalling rail seats any time soon.
  6. More or less the same since we’ve come back up 4 top half finishes in 10 seasons then .
  7. Oh dear that was fucking crap for a start I would have thought .
  8. Have you read the article?
  9. They were not a happy bunch. Several through cones at some gobby Saints fans outside by the divide on Brittannia Road and then a couple took a beating when the West Ham fans broke through the barries and police line. I guess a coiple of Saints fans learnt a lesson last night.
  10. Yes it is a f**king joke. we never used to give fans the whole end in the cup . We used to have saints fans in block 40 and part of block 41 in cup games.
  11. Why did it take the assistant ref to put his flag up ? It wasnt till the keeper went over screeming at him that he finally did
  12. Or more importantly how the f**k did it make it into the top 6 !
  13. f**k them I say , only a few weeks ago on their forum they were discussing be takien over and signing players again . As others have said none were questioning where the money was comming from when they were gambling on promotion. None questioned the value of Pride Park or what ever it’s called when they sold it over what it was actually worth . I’ve allways found Derby fans to be quite gobby too .
  14. I’d have to go with this as well .

I wonder if there is a thread on Pompeyweb or what ever their forum is called tittled "scummers takeover saga"
  16. Providing we play Swansea next week
  17. Perhaps there should be a take over window where clubs can only be taken over in the close season.

I see the guy who posted this is already saying his get out of jail free line “ if it doesn’t happen then something must have changed “ I find it strange that dispite this being on various open forums no media have picked up on it .
  19. Both clubs and the league must have known last night that the game was in doubt. Feel for the Aston Villa fans (and any Burnley fans who may have travelled) who would have been in Burnley when the news came through. To me the league really needs to have a 14 day break to let things settle etc.
  20. We are fucked then if he goes in January!
  21. That doesn't stop people moving to under the flight path to and from Southapton airport complaing.
  22. Who are those three rank sides?
  23. Why would the club want to purchase the gasworks site for expansion? They can extend the ground on the land they own ? Though expanding St Marys is not required any time soon .
  24. Not sure about empty stadiums but I can see 50% capacity or less if things continue with the new variant .
  25. I wonder if the Brentford fans were as confident as beating Norwich as most on here seem to be ?
