Yet you're still following him
-
....ah but ours has red n white stripes on the shoulder to keep EVERYONE happy.

Both can. Not automatic for 1st 11 but part of the 18. They do need to get their heads down and work hard pre season
-
Never in a million years

The best thing about how this club is run is that anyone who wants to stay and is under contract can do. It may sound like waste of money but it sends out a very important message to new signings. When we give you a four contract, we promise to honour it. In return we do not expect you to jump at the first better offer that comes along

Should've gone to specsavers....
-
Hull (a) then Cardiff (h)
-
Norwich, villa, stoke, Sunderland. ProbBly add the three promoted sides
-
He's ready for EPL. Send him out on loan and if he's got any sense he will ask for a transfer. Plenty of premier league teams that he would walk straight into.
-
Is that the new kit leaked??
-
Damn predictive text. That should have read not as bad as Illingworth
-
Not as bad as liking worth to be fair. Talked like the club had already folded and predicted 10 more EPL teams to follow...
-
Onj the pitch, Morgan. Off the pitch, probably JWP. Guly is probably close in an enigmatic way...

Lol. I didn't read it like that. Cortese is strange compared to the traditional Chairman but maybe he's showing us how the role should be performed. Adam Blackmore said at the time of Nigel's sacking that in the private sector you always give the incoming manager a decent chance of success by appointing him when things are going well rather than have hime face a crisis of confidence from day1! Its so obvious when you think about it. In the main I love the way Cortese honours contracts right to the end (Dickson, Richardson, Butterfield, for example), - it means players are more inclined to honour the contracts that they sign. Don't want to make this a Cortese thread though. MLT has some cracking stories to tell and that last goal at the Dell was real Roy of the Rovers stuff. Coming from behind to beat Arsenal was something in itself but the game wil always be remembered for 'that goal'. I lost count of the numberof times that Matt saved the club single handedly. The Great Escape year stands out with his route 1 goal at Dellhurst Park! But more than anything was a game against Wimbledon at the Dell where we needed a win but he just failed to perform on the day and Wimbledon hammered us for 89 minutes. Then Matt steps up with a free kick and lobs a curling shot up and and around the keepr who went ballistic. Great days.

I detect a theme developing here

This is still the best mock up I've seen

The guy put his phone in his pocket too quickly and he inadvertently tweeted a blank response. Seriously. You need to find a hobby.
-
Steve Moran?

I'm interested. Thanks for posting MLG. does not need title editing.

God I am glad that Adkins left...how embarrassing!

And as honest as the day is long. Top bloke. Poch is better though..... -
Yes but 7 has become a bit of a 'legends' number at Southampton. Paine, Keegan, Le Tiss, Lambert... ( ....Skacel???)
-
lol. I think the sarcasm went over most people's heads.
-
Ramirez, his first season, how good has he been?
Mowgli replied to Barry Sanchez's topic in The Saints
Why do people respond to threads like this. Its been done so many times already and no one has anything new to say. Gaston is undoubtedly a good player. Probably the most talented at the club. The fact that he has not won everyone over yet is not in dispute. We'll see in a couple of months how he fits into the new look team -
Looking At that second strip and thinking about the rumour of us linking up with an F1 team, it looks an awful lot like the shirts the Lotus team were wearing at Monaco today.
