Ha. If people thought we had a lot of games this season it will be nothing compared to next season in the Championship with 27 teams.

I like Les Reed. He said hello to me outside St Mary's once when I was going to the ticket office and stopped to talk about football for 5 minutes. The scenes after the game yesterday with idiot, foulmouthed fans ragging off at him are totally out of order. These people have absolutely no idea what's going on at the club but they think it's ok to shout in the face of club officials because we are in a bad run of form? Complete and utter morons. What do they think will happen? That Les Reed will get back to his office and think "you know what, those drunk, middle aged men with replica shirts fitted tightly over their wobbling pot bellies are right. I'm useless." Is it his fault that the CB we had lined up got injured? Or that the club of the other one we agreed a fee for significantly bumped up the price when Van Dijk got injured? That was the reason we were trying to keep the extent of his injury quiet, but no, it leaked out and the other club tried to shaft us. So he didn't lie. We were in a position to replace Fonte. We had a fee agreed with one club, and a loan option as back up. Both fell through at the last minute. But yeah, crack on lads, he's clearly a clueless idiot with no idea of how to run a football club and you all know better.

I didn't say they shouldn't be at Wembley, although I'd suggest a Man United "fan" with a season ticket at St Mary's isn't the kind of person any of us would want to be stood next to during the final. Give me the type of backing the team had at Anfield any day over people struggling to work out how to take a selfie while wearing foam hands during the game.

Good spot. There are a few people I feel sorry for, like VFTT's mate, especially when there's people like the plastic Man United fan I know who bought half season tickets for him and his kids because he's loaded and just fancied watching a few games of football and is now eligible for tickets to the final. Our end will be full of day trippers, people who are just happy to be at Wembley and probably won't care if we lose because they will have had a nice day out.

Only 3cm smaller than Lloris. To be honest I've no idea if this chap is any good or not but I don't think height is the most important indicator of his ability.

There were some in block 12. One 2 seats from me got quite excited when they had their first attack so I leaned over and had a go. He kept quiet for the rest of the game but there were a couple of others a few rows away who did celebrate. Funniest incident was one chap smoking an e-cigarette who the stewards spotted and came to have a word. They then saw his mate had a bottle of beer and threw him out instead.

He's a decent, honest player who could probably do a job for a team at the bottom of the Championship/top of League 1. No disgrace in that, he's just not quite good enough for the top division.

I might have been slightly drunk when I wrote that. Thinking about it, I feel sorry for anyone who wasn't there last night. Seeing that goal go in was absolutely incredible. All the crappy away performances at Prague, Hull etc were forgotten when Long slammed in the winner. What a night.
