  1. Yeah, I like that. If Leicester go down, the lure of the top half of the Premier may interest him.
  2. Martin Odegaard again .... https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/news/football-real-madrid-martin-%C3%B8degaard-frozen-zinedine-zidane-112655275--sow.html
  3. I was thinking that if Arsenal do go for Cabaye, they won't come after Morgan!?
  4. If you're only as good as your last game, then for us Lambert and Lallana were v.good. Don't get all this 'busted flush' nonsense. They were on top of their game when they left and didn't get bad over the summer. Lallana is still playing well but not playing every game, and poor Rickie has been ruined by not playing at all. Would Pelle have joined if Rickie hadn't asked to leave? Only Koeman knows.
  5. Hard to know who/where we want until spaces become available but ... GK definitely, probably a first choice (if rumours that FF is out until Mar-16 are true) RB (Clyne's place) CB (Toby's) MF (Morgan) ST (to compete with Pelle)
  6. Yes and no. McIntyre is funny and a lot of people think so, as his shows sold out in minutes. Can't comment on Miranda Hart. To me, she is an actress on 'Call The Midwife', never seen her comedy series.
  7. I would say 'that's your opinion, and not one that I share'. McIntyre's act is all about observational comedy, yes, so it's real life, and reflects what we all face but sometimes take for granted. Take his piece on online application and booking tickets for the cinema. We all face it, we all accept it, but he presents it in a hilarious way. I'd much rather watch real comedy than stupidity and obscenity. Expleting everywhere is not funny.
  8. Flipping eck, you guys must be loaded. I spend 50 quid tops on a bike. But I'm not a serious biker, obviously.
  9. Good! Good that it means he is doing well and attracting attention. However, not for sale. He is on the bus, he is in the project. Moving on up, moving on up!
  10. I can make Thu 9th. Appreciate that is 48 hours after you meet, but if you have an absolute bender and can't move for 48 hours, I'll come and find you.
  11. Started reading comments from the start but soon came to the conclusion we all like different things in comedy. I would say McIntyre rules the world and bottom of the bin is Frankie Boyle. You can rank all others somewhere between those two extremes.
  12. Maybe he meant no more marquis signings. Have we ever signed a marquis? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marquis_de_Sade
  13. "No marquee signings this summer" Bale?
  14. I've said it before, I'll say it again. I DON'T want to see him back this season, as we'll have bees round a honey pot all summer.
  15. I'll be working in London the rest of the week. Where are we meeting to talk all things red and white?
  16. Lukaku AND Marillas both withdrawn from Belgium squad. Why do I think they will be fit as a fiddle for our game?!
  17. How about last home game of the season to meet up?
  18. Good news. So they will be off on loan by the end of the day? That's seems to be the pattern now.
  19. It was simply that you were bolding your..... words.... like our "Swedonian" correspondent!
  20. Think they had just watched Everton get tonked 5-2 and thought 'that's a fun scoreline to use'. Yeah, can't see us scoring 5 now, even against a pub team.
  21. As someone noted above, the show will re-appear in a similar format on another channel with the 3 amigos in place. The BBC SHOULD do the right thing, of course, but unless they can get a clause into the termination that prevents the guys from going to another channel, they may be shooting themselves in the foot.
  22. Don't mean to sound insensitive, but I see its a direct train from Keynsham to Southampton Central. Maybe get a lift/taxi to your station, then taxi from Central to the ground?
  23. Yep, reminds me of the supposed Y2K bug all those years ago. A lot of fear and expectation coming up to it .... then complete non-event. Total cloud cover across Hampshire and Dorset on my commute. We watched the live coverage from Newlyn, Cornwall on the BBC site. That was as close as we got to it. Oh well, short wait now until the next one in 2090 (full eclipse), 2026 (partial)!!! (actual dates)
  24. Even Lawro expects us to win! My old schoolmate Kevin Ashman from the Eggheads has us to win 5-2
  25. Are you David in Sweden posting under another name?
