Maybe we're biased as Saints fans but he's been consistently one of the best left backs this season, certainly more so than Baines, at a pinch Rose, and probably even Gibbs who has to compete for his team place with Monreal.

A lengthy but non-career threatening and non-too-painful injury to Sterling, Kane, Henderson, Mason, Townsend and other Spurs or Liverpool players I haven't mentioned in this international break would be OK to our chances too.

It's probably a question of whether we got automatic Champions League or had to go via the qualifiers. If Morgan's aim really is to play in the CL, risking staying and potentially us going out in the qualifiers and ending up in the Europa may not be what he's looking for. Then he'd be cup tied for any other club. Not that I think we have a chance of CL any more. 5th is the highest we can hope for IMO and I still think we'll end up 7th. Which is ok.

Willian is a class player, talented and he works so hard for the team too. I know he had temperament issues in the past but he's been ok at Chelsea. But Neymar is something else.

Knowing Bertrand's luck it'll be a desperate plea to Cole, a late call up for an unfit Flannagan, or shoe horning a past it Lescott into the left back position. There're probably more English left backs I can't think of right now. What would be lolz (though highly unlikely) is Baines and Gibbs pulling out, Roy calling up Bertrand and Ryan telling him to sod off.

Might as well look at Dave Watson if we're looking at keepers that old, at least he's on our books already! I've been looking around and Gerhard Tremmel is out of contract at Swansea in the summer, always looked quite solid, and at 36 won't keep Forster out when he comes back fit.

I just did the predictor thing as honestly and non-Saints-fanny as I could, and it had Saints on 67 points in 6th, one point and one place ahead of Spurs. We were 3 points behind Liverpool in 5th. Top 4 gap was huge. Mind you, the worst team of my predictor were Hull, who avoided relegation on goal difference to Burnley but only just as I predicted them to only get 1 more point for the rest of this season from where they are now.

Elia, Djuricic, and now Odegaard, though I doubt we'll ever get to see the best of the two we already have, unless we sign them on permanents.

I have an '08 plate Peugeot 207 that I got in early '09. Never gone wrong, and it's not a bad car, but even I admit if I could afford to get something a bit 'cooler', I would. It was the biggest 'small' car on the market (as I believe the 208 is) so it's not quick. If I do chop the car in soon, I'd quite fancy an Octavia or a Focus.

Schools in 2 different counties for me, thanks to boarding school and a music scholarship. Kings Court First School, Old Windsor, Berkshire. New College, Oxford. Bearwood College, Wokingham. University was Brunel in Uxbridge but I dropped out so I don't count that.

I can see us getting a win at Sunderland, but 6th/7th could come down to the Saints/Spurs game. I'd happily take 6th though as it would guarantee us European football and would mean finishing above one of the big boys. 5th would be a dream, I don't think we are still in the top 4 hunt though, but stranger things have happened.
