  1. It's a month since the initial poll. Any chance it could be run again? Be interesting to see how people's opinions have changed.
  2. High likelihood that by the end of the night all teams below us will have lost.
  3. Very sad. Used to get it sent to me as I didn't live in Southampton. They call it progress.
  4. Likewise. I want a feel good factor seeing us play. I don't get it in the Prem so if we go down I don't care. It's Saints I love and follow, not the league we're playing in.
  5. The bottom line is they don't make money so don't really care. In fact if you think they care about the fans in any way then you're sadly mistaken.

    Koeman

Exactly how I felt on leaving Stoke on Saturday. Call me what you like but I'm getting to the point where spending £2K a year being bored every week isn't a viable option. I want to be entertained and frankly I had a better feel good factor every weekend when we were in league one and The Championship.
  7. About time the book was thrown at people. Anti social behaviour is becoming the norm due to soft sentences. Maybe others will think twice.
  8. Says it all really when we consider spending £40M to be fantasy, it should be reality in this day and age.
  9. Mark Dennis

  11. Can see another Koeman situation. 3 year contract and he'll be gone after two
  12. Yes it was definitely Cassells. I recall in 89 having a chat with Keith over a cigar and pint regarding him going to Saints with Wright. Top man and did well for himself in Herts Police
  13. Yes until the end of the season. Then it's all change and start again.
  14. I didn't know and in fairness he calls it how he sees it
  15. Top referee. Great interview with Keith Hackett yesterday on Talk Sport about the state of refereeing.
  16. Probably most of them as they'll have no appetite for the Championship.
  17. Wonder how many of that side will stick around in the championship because on this form it's where we are headed.
  18. Gave up my ST when moved north. I accept I can't get a ticket through normal channels. Fortunately I can afford one from a ticket site but therein lies my quandary. I don't like lining their pockets, football is just becoming all about money with no thought for the fans and l think we'll just play in a negative way with the hope of springing a surprise.
  19. I have just spoken to them and after being bounce around was told they don't sell to the general hoy polloy and you have to go through the clubs. Who did you ring?
  20. Just for those that are thinking of this, as I am, I've done a bit of research and looked at a number of sites. Worth viewing the web site safefootballtickets.com. Anyway it appears for a bog standard behind the goal at Saints end ticket your talking about £550 which includes delivery of £10 and a hefty £147 service fee.
  21. I think the reality of football is coming home to roost. The attitude of Fonte, the bonkers wages, over supply on TV and this season very abject performances from Saints. A lot of fans probably realise we'll be taught a lesson at Anfield and having weird it up, especially with it being on TV, have decided to give it a miss. I so hope I am wrong about the result but I don't think I will be.
  22. I think in the current economic climate more people have to consider whether such a trip is value for money and let's face it Saints are not good value for money. I want to be entertained, I want to be excited and I want to go home feeling that I haven't been subjected to a process by a team just to get a result. Sadly that's what Sainst are like at the movement.
  23. Loved league 1 and The Championship. Gave me the feel good factor winning which is the same as the Prem but happened more often. Cheaper to see Saints and more games. For me if we were destined for mediocrity in the Prem with mid table finishes and no cups runs I'd plump for relegation and some excitement.
  24. Personally I'd prefer some identity back. The feel good factor is seeing us win no matter what league we are in. I enjoyed the lower leagues, we played decent football, had more games and got some success. Saturday's gave me the good feeling of having seen my team win - it didn't matter what league we were in. We also played more games and weren't being ripped off just to pay silly wages. I'm going to be radical but if relegation meant that again I'd take it. I'm fed up with being treated like a mug by The Premier League and dare I say it our club too. I'm also fed up seeing players just come and go.
  25. When you see the behaviour of Fonte, Berahino et al and then read an article like this it makes for very sad reading. Would also be nice if maybe his old clubs especially Villa and Saints could do something for him.
