I think you've missed the point completely. It's not the defeat - it's the manner of the defeat.
Nobody is probably that bothered that we lost. The problem is the first team didn't turn up, unfortunately neither did the second team.
We didn't give it a go - that's the problem.
I'm still laughing, wanted Arsenal to win, really don't need Reading getting any confidence whatsoever. If we are going to stay up, Reading are going to have to go down.
If we were playing well, if we'd had a few shots, if we had were peppering their goal, if we were working their goalkeeper, if we were playing well, then I couldn't give a toss about the result. Problem is - we're not.
To be fair, doing a Birmingham is probably about as positive as I can see the season going. So you have a point I guess.
That said - I don't see us getting back into this.
I am calm, and I am positive that unless something changes radically we have a great chance of being relegated. Not the end of the world for me to be honest. Really enjoyed the last 6 or so years - this year - boring, predictable Premier League - not really that fussed if I'm honest.
Right - well obviously it's a good cause Bridgey but it needs explaining to fans who are going to be there. It needs explaining on this thread. It appears that the Villa fans took exception to our total lack of participation in their match tribute to Stan. But it was purely because nobody was pre-warned or knew what was happening.
I can just see Nige scribbling the OP down on the back of a fag packet in order to try to sell in to Nicola come Monday. Nice try - but I don't buy it and I don't think the Don is gonna buy it either.
