To draw them at home and still be in the top four of the PL by the 3rd round draw comes about would be absolutely brilliant. Please, football Gods, please.

I'm starving. Pass the humble pie. Again. Absolutely delighted. -
come on Gareth, please smack a couple past these utter losers.

Anyone totally unsurprised Liverpool look so much better and more solid now they've ditched Gerrard and Henderson? Those two are so sh1te, they really really are.

I'll have another large slice of that humble pie please... if there's any left.

Ah, I know. Roy Hodgson. Absolutely dog toffee, like Johnson.

I am so genuinely happy I got a lot wrong this summer, I really am. Absolutely brilliant time to be a Saints fan, I can't believe the turnaround achieved in such a short space of time. I'm also taking plenty of glee that those who wanted out seem to be struggling at their new clubs... and I thought many of those players were right to move on. How wrong I was. And it's so nice to read how level-headed Saints fans are about the win against Stoke, unlike the very ungracious Liverpool fans on here: http://www.redandwhitekop.com/forum/index.php?topic=317477.40 So disrespectful to Hull. I bet we won't be underestimating them.

Really we hope we can get a second 'cos Stoke are sh1t. They've offered nothing, other than fouling. Absolutely rubbish team. "We've changed" say Stoke fans. Hahaha. Yeah, ok.
-
If Stoke fans think they've actually changed as a team, then they're horrifically wrong. Stoke are still ugly in every single way.
-
It's their midfield. Horrendous. Gerrard is sh1t and has been for years and Henderson is dog toffee , always has been.

As I said earlier, big slice of humble pie for me please. Tadic is Barca/Real quality player, he really is that good... he'd just slot in seamlessly into one of those teams. For £10m, incredible. How many assists now? -

Jeez. Wow. Delighted. QPR had a good go in spells, but Saints... wow, so happy to continually proven wrong by this team and the club.

Thanks Gem, I'll guess we'll have to swap "contacts" and see whether there were porkies involved on my part. Can't see it myself, don't know why I'd be bull****ted when these people have been right before. Hope you're well. Thanks again to you too, manji. My opinion is that I *could* be wrong or that I still *could* be right - it's very early on but it looks like the catalyst for the dramatic turnaround was Schneiderlin staying and the board finally digging their heels in and saying "enough is enough". I don't believe anything I was told was exaggerated but I do believe that we have responded brilliantly off and on the pitch to adversity which, let's face it, no other club has had to deal with in recent times. I'd imagine a lot of people would thinking I'm kicking myself that we're playing so fantastically well and are 2nd but I'm not - it's fantastic and I'm pleasantly surprised and delighted with how we're doing as, after all, I'm a Saints fan. A massive well done so far and I doff my hat to those who had more faith than me but I have to say, it's hard to have faith when you're being advised that all is not well.

Well, if we call players up for familiarity reasons then why do they always play like strangers
-
Prefer Pepe lol

My bed is wet for all the right reasons. Brilliant, well done saints

Controversial topic, but... ... what's everyone's opinions on this? This topic cropped up at work again today and a lot of people (however well or ill-informed they are, I don't know) seem to think Liverpool fans are also partly to blame for what happened. Additionally, a lot of people seem to say that Heysel is conveniently forgotten. The debate developed and, some of the group even said that because of the continued opposition of the Liverpool fans (Justice for the 96 etc) against safe-standing that it'll not likely happen any time soon - and, most were pretty miffed about it. Without wanting to get into a too sensitive subject, do you think that is plausible that it'll be shelved because of the JFT96 etc won't want it? Surely, they could see "safe-standing" is absolutely nothing like the terracing beforehand and it'll be properly policed/allocated etc to avoid anything like that happening again? I bloody hope we can have some standing areas at grounds again...
