I wouldn't call them decent. I'd call them below average. "Decent" would be the likes of Rob Lee in his pomp, not the above, who offer nothing creatively and struggle to pass to their own team. Christ, even Neil Maddison would get near the England team these days. Well, maybe if he was warming the bench at Citeh or something.

There'll be plenty of people who I've been in conflict with over the years and plenty that often "do battle" on this m-board to this very day in this list. It's off the top of my head but here goes; The9, Minty, B-Rabbit, thorpie, TDD (Batman), Turkish, Wes Tender, Crazy Diamond, Tokyo(s), Bearsy, Chez, The Kraken, CB Fry, rallyboy, trousers, Um Pahars, hypo, Dalek, VMAN... I'm absolutely sure I missed quite a few people though.

Don't forget - midfielders like Shelvey, Henderson, Rodwell etc will get more caps than Cork, Ward-Prowse, Lallana combined. Then the geniuses who make these decisions will still be tehre scratching their head going "I just don't understand what we're doing wrong"

Let's face it, he's probably not going to care too much whether he goes to Cardiff or Saints if that's his only two options. Throw an Arsenal or Liverpool into the equation then things become a bit more difficult for the likes of us provincials. But if it's true and he really would prefer Cardiff then we should hope that little Nicky packs him off to Wales to enjoy their "project" instead. There's thousands upon thousands of players of equal calibre out there who'd see as an opportunity to advance their career.

If that is him then he's obviously mentally ill. Why would you go to such lengths on another teams forum AND give it the billybig balls to fans of one of the biggest clubs in the world? Sure, their league is utter tripe but to think we'd get anywhere near them in terms of attendances/prestige and sustain it for 50, 75 years is utterly mental.

Hahaha! They're my team too - I absolutely adored and hated it under Zeman though... brilliant, attacking football with ridiculous, suicidal defending - such great fun to watch! Aurelio Andreazzoli's team didn't have quite the same feel to it but after that Cagliari game, there wasn't really any choice but to boot Zeman out the door (I was there for it, ha!). I totally agree with you about "being there" as well... wow, what an atmosphere, it made the hairs stand up on the back of your neck pre-match with the "Roma Roma" song. So privileged to have seen Totti live as well. I'm assuming you'll be going over to watch them next season?
