  1. Did you manage to play the video? I just get "This content doesn't seem to be working. Try again later." Was the same yesterday.
  2. Just back from holiday. Left the day after the Oldham game. Anybody know where I can get highlights of the Oldham game? would love to see that goal again.
  3. For those who haven't seen it, the patch has been released. http://community.codemasters.com/forum/f1-2010-game-1316/442145-f1-2010-v1-01-standalone-pc-patch-now-available.html According to the forums it is a big improvement.
  4. Just seen the highlights of their game tonight. Wow. Just wow. He is just walking past top class European defenders like they aren't there. Amazing.
  5. Have you been thinking that up for a month?
  6. I dunno. The things people are saying about being incredibly fast at one track and then at the back for the next, team mates who are slower in qualy but much much quicker in the races. I absolutely hate stuff like that. Theres a poster up above who says he is 13th in one race but then qualifies 8 seconds a lap faster than anybody else at the next race in the wet. That doesn't sound to me like the type of problem you can dial out with the settings, it sounds crap.
  7. This sounds pretty crap to be honest. Full of ridiculous bugs. I will await a patch and see what happens then.
  8. He was clearly also not comfortable with sculpting a person. Hearing him try to claim that the proportions were correct was painful.
  9. He's not an emergency loan.
  10. Guly is awesome.
  11. I think it's a good improvement personally. My strikers actually get on the end of crosses sometimes, through balls are a bit harder, players finishing is a little better. Just a few things that are improvements imo. Also loving the personalised chants.
  12. I have always found CB Fry to be quite patient and willing to accept others opinions, whenever he has told me that I am WRONG WRONG WRONG and then proved it by remembering things I've said a year ago, I've always thought how nice of him to take the time to enlighten me.
  13. Tijuana Tim wont reply to anything unless you give him to opportunity to say either a) that he lives in America, or b) that he is friends with Ron Davies.
  14. ...which is why we drank £300 worth.
  15. Good read, Cheers.
  16. I have been reading user reviews on grandprixgames.org, trying to decide whether to buy it or not. They are pretty serious race simulation fans over there, so maybe they're expecting too much, but some of the flaws they're talking about sound pretty annoying. They're talking about the AI cars speed (and therefore the difficulty) fluctuating quite a lot between races, that would really annoy me as I want something vaguely realistic performance wise.
  17. I don't really get the whole "sold their souls for power" thing. We had a hung parliment, somebody had to compromise or we would have had another election. They were always going to have to take a backseat largely but it needed to be done, they had to form a government somehow.
  18. Yep thats probably me. Although as I've said, I do agree things are sung too fast, and I hated the "one Alan Pardew" after he'd been sacked, if that helps. Wow, some people really take themselves seriously. No need to resort to name calling mate. I have to assume you are on a windup, I just cannot believe that anybody really despairs that we sing red army instead of red and white army.
  19. I have to say I find it quite funny that during games there are people sat in the Itchen getting worked up that the Northam are singing "Red Army". I will remember to sing that one especially loud next time just for you Essruu.
  20. If you feel that strongly about it, have a word with the lads who can hit the back boards, the rest of us don't stand a chance. I wouldn't mind singing OWTS slower but those at the back set the tempo, it's impossible to go against it as they're so loud.
  21. You are entitled to vent your frustrations, just as people are entitled to pick them apart if you are not able to come up with any alternatives. At the end of the day, if there are not enough clever songs for your liking, do something about it.
  22. Tell you what then... If it bothers you so much, get a group of your mates together, teach them the words to these wonderful original songs I'm sure you're capable of thinking up, get tickets together in the Northam and start them off. The rest of the stand will soon catch on and follow, and we can all be singing from the intelligent and witty Noggin hymnsheet together.
