You can be sure that had it been us signing those players instead of Leicester for the fees that they paid for them those signings and others would have been dismissed as cheap replacements from a board lacking ambition. Another example of how far we've come since Cortese was rightly ousted from his position. Cortese held us back in so many ways including match day announcing. 2 years ago benali wasn't welcome at St Mary's now he is back with open arms. With his daughter employed as the official club team announcer the complete match day experience can only be enhanced.
