  1. The best evidence I can offer up for Poch being a poor manager is that Spurs can play anyone off the park when they are at it - they came out all guns against us and deserved to win, and they dismantled Chelsea. So why don't they put it in every week? There is something wrong with the culture at that club. Slack, sloppy and lazy too often to succeed. They may well blow Arsenal away later at WHL but could then go on to not win any of their next 3. It's the Spurs way.
  2. JWP not Tadic. Tadic can't strike a dead ball and repeatedly wastes corners and free kicks and we can't afford that luxury.
  3. I would play JWP ahead of Tadic purely on his ability to take corners and free kicks. Tadic is woeful with a dead ball, and at the moment isn't that impressive when its a moving one. Could do with a spell on the bench in my opinion.
  4. When I see Pochettino walk out at Wembley I am going to be physically sick. Total bell end.
  5. That knee injury is going to make sections of the media think twice before continuing to tout the wheeler dealer for a knighthood.
  6. Trevor Foy on FB or Twitter would be a good start. @trevseemonkeydo He runs the Melbourne group. And does a lot more besides. Top bloke.
  7. You lot would love it on Aussie Roads - overtaking and undertaking is allowed on motorways and dual carriageways. My pet hate is aggressive women drivers - is there any other kind? They all seem to think they have to enforce their will over yours. Merging in turn is a particular favourite.
  8. Liverpool Echo re Lovren for those who didn't have the time to click the link: 'His last start in any competition was at Bournemouth, where he was troubled continually by the Cherries’ Matt Ritchie. He was replaced by Sakho at half time in that game, and has barely been seen since'. Now that's funny.
  9. Raping 2 year olds or drunk sex with a 17 year old. Massive difference. Read the mainstream and you wouldn't think so. It's a black and white thing for them - you are either a rapist/paedophile or you are not. Ask Ched or Graham Rix. It's all a matter of scale. For me, kill the former without mercy and have some balance about the latter. It's not hard, it ****es me off the way it's all reported.
  10. Good to see Shaw wobbling on for a subs appearance in the 0-0 at Cambridge. Marvellous.
  11. Strongest team. No messing around.
  12. Anything is possible. Unlikely maybe, but possible. And to be honest I don't think Man City are any better than us at the moment. They were very ordinary in that Arsenal game. And Chelsea's defence against Spurs still makes me laugh.
  13. What a fantastic week on the road. Chuffed to bits. As for today in particular, Elia deserved MoM but Reed was fantastic. How good is he going to be with a bit more experience and Weetabix? Long way to go this season yet and it's a punishing pace in the race for a CL spot, but we are bang there, and a few more wins and the panic will really set in amongst the Billy Big Balls sides.
  14. Going to be an interesting run in. One thing for sure, we are going to need to be right there with two or three games to go before the mainstream media include us in the 'big games at the weekend' summary.
  15. I haven't visited the OS for years. Got fed up with the mobile site being completely unusable and then the desktop version being crap as well.
  16. Decent standard of football. England would struggle against most of these sides.
  17. Pelle should have given him the shirt after one of the corners. Pelle would have been booked but. Dowd couldnt have ignored it any more. Coward.
  18. None of us can change anything about this or what happens next at this stage. Therefore I can't see the point in getting involved really. Pointless posturing achieves nothing. Hope we play with someone up top to support Pelle on Sunday.
  19. This - except I don't bother with checking the messages.
  20. Battered them at home. By their own admission, they are tired. Several out injured. They are a pretty ordinary side really trading on past reputation. We can win this one three or four nil if we play well and take our chances. Nothing to fear. Excellent value at 4/1.
  21. Robert Popper - has the potential to be a comedy writer on a par with Elton/Curtis. Friday Night Dinner was one of the funniest things I have seen for some time.
  22. Can't look past Ipswich at the moment really. We have had our warning with the defeat at Sheff Utd. Another day like that and we can kiss goodbye to a trophy for another season. European qualification would be quite some consolation prize to go for though!
  23. 10 points off a 1 in 4 shot at promotion. 6 points off certain footballing oblivion. Meanwhile, we have just beaten Arsenal and sit in a Champions League spot. Stick that in your bosuns whistle yer Pikeys.

    Mane

If someone is playing terribly they get dropped. That's what Koeman did to Mane and it has galvanised him. I don't understand people defending his period of games when he was just so rank bad it was self evident. Get over yourselves. Some on here called it, Koeman called it too. This is part of what a forum is for, bigging players up for great things and bagging them when they deserve it. I guess defending under performance is where we are at now in the 'everyones a winner' culture taught in schools.
  25. Chelsea looked all over the place at the back today. Man City are leaking goals too. Both have CL distractions. Only 18 games left. Only 10 points behind.....
