Sabaly from Bordeaux would be my choice for fullback. Senegalese international fullback who can play left or right, Should have enough points for a post Brexit work permit.

It works if you have an account based at a UK address. might also work with a VPN like WINSCRIBE to make it think you are in the UK .

I seem to recall Ralph saying once that Saints aren't ab;e to sign M'Bappie but should be signing the next M'Bappe instead/ These rules will make that impossible.

Despite the numerous chances United had, we did hit the post and had Armstrong been able to control the rebound from Djenepo's shot, would have been 3 nil up at half time. In the 2nd half United seem to get more space wide on their right, where the first goal came from, and I also can't decide whether we are shit at marking, or if Cavani is that good at finding space. Subs were wrong. Long has been awful this season, although there was one ray of light when the commentator said that he had not scored in over 50 substitute appearances, "commentators curse" I thought, maybe he will score, but no. It is like playing with 10 men with him on the park. Dalio should have come on 10 minutes earlier as most people on here have said.
-
Commentator said it was Longs 54th sub appearance without scoring. There may be a bit of a theme there ?

Every time Bednarek scores we turn a 3 nil lead into a 3 3 loss . FUCK

Very glad we didn't get him. Known bigging up Loftus Cheek too. I Thought he gave the ball away less than Cairney, but that was because he hardly had a touch.

In 83-84 were barley in contention for a UEFA cup place until we lost that Semi-final , but we went on a great run and finished 2nd. Doesn't matter how you get there, it is where you end up that matters most.

Jannik Vestergaard - Official: Signs for Leicester

North of 70 Mill now Gomez is injured ! -
Like most posters on here , I can't really pick a MOM, they were all great last night. It is a real pleasure to watch such a brave team. Looking at the comments on the Guardian site, a lot of neutrals thinks so too. I wish Theo had curled that first half chance in the first half as it would have been a classic Ralph goal, win the ball on the right move it slowly across into the middle, and then BANG, an outrageous flick from Djenepo shreds the Newcastle defence.
-
Armstrong wasn't helping out KWP at all with Grealish, if not for the injuries I would have taken him off. We got far too casual after going 4 nil up and struggled to get back to our first half pressing. Lets hope the injuries aren't to bad, and that Armstrong can work on his defensive positioning for next week.

Quite agree. When I first moved to France Lyon dominated the league and were well financed, but not like Man City or PSG. Their star waned a bit and in the interim, Lille, Montpellier and my very own Bordeaux all won the League. Now it is PSG, PSG PSG and the league is dying on its feet. All that is left to play for is champions League spots, which would also disappear under this proposal. Imagine winning the league in Football Manager and getting an E-mail saying, "congratulations, now you can apply for a wildcard slot in the FIFA league of European Mega Teams".

That might change, as quite a few people allegedly paid for the NUFC Man #u game, whereas I doubt the figures for WBA Burnley would have broken a spreadsheet. It might be that more big 6 games enf up one PPV, once they have had their statutory minimum number of televised games. As it is, the pricing makes no sense. for 20 odd quid, you can get 16 games a month on SKY, so why should a PPV game cost 10 times as much. The cameras and commentators are already there for overseas coverage, so you merely have to pay them a fee for the coverage, plus some admin costs for processing the PPV fees,

Great 2nd half , as said elsewhere, although KWP gave the ball away too much and Vestegaard got carried away after the Adams goal and went on a Bekenbauer run into their half when Bertie was already there, leading to the big game they exploited for their 3rd. Good team performance, both CMs were excellent and the new guy looked good when he came on after the Romeu yellow. Tella showed some promise, particularly when winning the ball back. Very good debut by Theo. I was happy at 3.2 with the Skate Mont being substituted, so 3 3 is jsut great, and well deserved.

Wasn't Mike dean the ref who missed the knee high lunge by Alonso on Long from a distance of 10 yards? Alonso went on to set up 2 goals and subsequently gott a 3 match ban. Not much hope for any help from VAR in this one.

Just read about the voting rights thing , and even if Saints had a bote it would not make much difference, as it says that only 6 votes would be needed to change policy. The big 6 would be able to do what they want and sod the rest of us. Summer PL competition, no thanks.

I think the writing was on the wall for the show when they couldn't fit all 5 people in the studio due to social distancing, cutting down on the banter .. Add the fact that there is now only one 3pm kick off and it gets less interesting still. I turned it off yesterday when Ali McCoist started singing the Animal Magic theme,

If Ratcliffe took over there is a chance he might pull Ings out of the Saints squad to enter him in the Giro D'Italia . -

It is going to be Trump isn't it. He will build a hotel south of the Chapel end and a nine hole golf course on the banks of the Itchen. He even has the piles of sand and gravel there to build the bunkers ! -
The work permit thing could well be true, this is controlled by the home office, who managed to come up with a "nurses and carers" entry scheme which excluded the afore mentioned carers because of low pay. He may well have lost entry points because Toulouse got relegated.
-
And Mark Hughes, Bowen Eddie whatsit and the rest of his entourage will be of the books at the end of this season too !

After he bought Bordeaux, they worked out that they had over paid for it, so they sold their best players every window, and trousered the profits. Bordeaux are still making transfer profits after he has gone. They have a fantastic new 40,000 stadium and the potential was there to fill it and be a regular top 4 team again with just a little investment, This season they have sold only 7500 season tickets and signed no-one. -
Tom Davies has had the odd good game for Everton, but all you can really say about him is that he is an improvement on Smallbone. When we last played them, I thought he had majorly on the pies, looked very overweight. On top of that, I am not sure that going to New York fashion week is the sign of a career focused lifestye.

Mourinho style Spurs will probably sit back and counter, just the style we struggle to break down. Will be difficult to get anything without our most experienced wide players. Just hope that we defend deep too.
-
Moved the ball far too slowly, apart from the blind pass from Romeu which lead to their goal. Redmond was awful, but Smallbone got better in the second half when he moved off the wing. Adams and Ings looked to play off each other but with no decent service. Everyone else was average, apart form Long, who seemed to have forgotten what the round thing was during his summer break. Makeshift defence for them combined with our good record at Selhurst made it somehow inevitable.
