  1. 1. Lambert 2. Jos 3. Davis 4. Lallana 5. Schneiderlin 6. Cork
  2. Obviously all plane sailing except if you are the original poster wanting to get an answer to a straight forward question. Probably off at a tangent but does anybody know the answer ?
  3. As Celtic were interested we are probably buying him to do a PX deal for Hooper
  4. Bus, Boat, rowing boat shows we got lots of money as we are now diversifying with our transport! It will be interesting to see how Puncheon tries to win the fans around he certainly needs to start well. I think this was always likely to happen as I saw somewhere that he was having a meeting with NC and a league rep? Well done NC for giving him a second chance and hope it did not take too much of your valuable time whilst you are finalising some more signings !
  5. Well look at QPR the manager only signed Tuesday and they expect to have two players in the team by the weekend ! Whats wrong with us dont we want promotion NC & NA must go now !! Oh hang on QPR are desperate aren't they and we're biding our time to get quality players to enhance the squad who has so far only managed to get us to the top since September wasn't it ? I think we need to stay patient and have faith in the management.
  6. Chaplow for me as well he worked his socks off and I thought he got the ball and was unlucky to get booked. Rickie worked very hard as well and Hooiveld was pretty solid. I thought West Ham would be tougher than that but we could of scored more which would have settled the nerves a bit. Great team performance and a well deserved win
  7. When I picked up my correct ticket booklets the guy in the T/O said the mistake was due to the instalment plan ticketing. I assume that they were sending out the booklets for games 1 - 8 to those who paid the first instalment and the 8 - 23 when they were fully paid up? He said that there was not much of a problem because only one wrong box had been used and they had nearly all the booklets back. I told him that I had not been asked to send mine in when I phoned (I went to the T/O because they messed that up) and he asked me if I had tried to get them through the Ticketmaster no. and said there may be a problem with some not being requested by them.
  8. I got mine on Wednesday (4) and all short of the first 8 games so I made the call to 0845 6889288 (thanks Nextstar) got straight through and told them all four were short. They said they would put them in the post and yes I got a letter this morning unfortunately with only one book in. (The kids and my dad are distraught as I am the only one sure of going to the Leeds game). I hope they get it right after my next call but how are they going to cope from the 9th game on with all the tickets out there. I have not been asked to return mine or destroy them. I have now decided to pay my pound and visit the ticket office tomorrow when I get the kids new shirts and return my books when they hopefully they give me the correct ones.
  9. My missus hates football but did come for the day out at the JPT final (Glory Hunter) however she just about puts up with me taking two of our children with me to St Marys. My oldest girl detests football more than her mother but my 15yr old daughter is fanatical, even more so than my twelve year old boy. She was devastated when I suggested the children share a ticket due to the rise in price and my father (84) who we also take has even offered to pay for her. Roll on the new season
  10. Now they were class but we're showing our age !
  11. The OS has a gallery of pictures from todays Under 21. There are 38 pictures with about 5 featuring Jack Cork as he only played one half is this another tease or a message?
  12. This also surprises me as I also sold this one previously and it was much more than £200 I have also got a Motorcycle plate with that no. if you are interested
  13. Its very surprising then that S13 SFC is still shown for sale by Regtransfers.co.uk at £750 plus transfer which equals £855 !
  14. Thanks for the link my 12 year old son clicked on it and yes, before anyone else does, it goes straight to a porn site. I was waiting for some amusing comments but not a complete a complete T*sser like you (Jonnyboys reply and link to a porn site was the post above which has now been removed)
  15. I have the above no for sale. Its on retention and would look great on a 530 BMW. I am looking for £600 all in and the only extra you need would be the actual plates (I do have one for a motorcycle) Please PM me if you are genuinely interested.
  16. My ST's for me and 2 kids (12 & 15) have gone up from £789 to £1195 so around 50% which is obviously a blow but which I can now balance out in my head a bit by the 30% cut last season (thanks Franks Cousin). We are all Saints fans on here and obviously we will follow them whatever so can I ask for some help with my biggest dilemma. How the hell do I explain the rise to Mrs S4Prem who does all the banking and is about as interested in English football as Sepp Blatter. One obvious answer to me is to move into the chapel but as we are in the Kingsland/Northam end with atmosphere will the Northam promise not to sing songs to upset me? Any suggestions would be gratefully received. (Doing away with her is tempting but not an option)
  17. I was listening to Talksport earlier and it appears that Adrian Durham is trying to get in on the act by asking Orient fans to phone in if they heard Barney swearing. It would be a big bonus for his Posh team to have Barney out for our run in. He did grudgingly mutter the words that Southampton will be in the second automatic place though. I turned off so do not know if his request gained any momentum.
  18. I have S30 SFC which I took off my Bike and have to decide whether to put it back on the replacement or on the car. I did try to sell it on here once but as I was inundated with the Capitalist Police (I dared to sell it at a profit) I gave up. I actually find Deppo quite amusing but then have yet to have him make a comment which upsets me.
  19. Come on Nigel I thought you were going to play a couple of reserves and give it to us. My fans have gone all quiet now I'll have to bring on Giggsy and Nanny (old and keeps falling over) and activate the ref effect !
  20. http://www.newsnow.co.uk/A/464705925?-11205 Just seen on Newsnow (link to Skysports) that we and Millwall are in for Cardogan at Crystal Palace. He looks like a good bet is described as a midfielder who can cover down either flank.
  21. Yes that was a bit tongue in cheek
  22. Bought my tickets this afternoon disappointed that only 7000 sold so far according to the ticket office. My season ticket is in the Kingsland at the Northam end so will be interesting to sit in the opposite corner and see the atmosphere in the Chapel tommorrow.
  23. Foreign Manager - Rolf Fringer Wow Factor Manager - Martin O'Neill English Manager - Nigel Adkins
  24. Cup win 76 - Couldn't get a ticket so watched it at home with family and my first child aged 3 months (she was wearing a very small red and white knitted scarf). As Bobby scored we all screamed and frightened her half to death. Did go out in Southampton that night and for the bus tour next day and can still remember the great atmosphere Keegan signed - I remember seeing it as I was doing my paper round. It was in the Echo which used to have a space for "Stop Press" at the bottom of the back page. It said Kevin Keegan signs for Saints. I got home as my dad came in from work and I said that I was surprised we would sign the Norwich goalkeeper as he was too old (He was called Kevin Keelan) I could not believe we would make a signing like KK but was elated when we turned on the TV and saw it. Saints put the sixth past Man Utd - Listening on the radio and going mad. Marcus passes away - Sadly about to travel to Canada got a phone call from my mum as I was staring at a text from a very sad poopey colleague asking "who's your owner now" . Unfortunately here for 3 weeks so miss the Orient game but will be thinking about everyone especially on Saturday. Thanks for the pictures of the tributes and just wish I was there. Special moments -MLT testimonial he was superb in goal! I am sure it was this game where Ian Wright fell over in the penalty area when the ball was miles away and got a penalty, real comedy stuff and a great night. FA Cup final at Cardiff real pride as we won the singing and were by far the best supporters. At JPT Final great atmosphere (even took the wife! However she will not be at another match as she was the reason Carlisle scored having just said "it would be nice for the other team to score as they have been trying very hard". Thanks for some great memories at a very sad time.
  25. R.I.P. Marcus thanks for everything and saving the Saints, I hope your watching as we achieve your dream !
