I can’t see it, still plenty left including most of the upper tier, hopefully we shift another few hundred, we always seem to manage to take a lot more to Anfield than we do to Goodison. We’ve nearly sold out 2000 for Swansea so perhaps people are saving themselves for that one. Massive game but our record there is appalling, i was there for our last win on a Sunday on sky so hopefully being televised is a good omen. Need Everton to be as kind to us as they were at St Mary’s this season.

Fair enough, only games I can remember are; 16/17 - 0-0 15/16 - 2-0 Saints 10/11 - 2-0 saints in league and 2-0 in cup in same season Have they played there is a Hampshire senior Cup or something like that?

Funny one this, build up from our side is quite flat having lost the semi final and majority of the fan base resigned to relegation as a done deal, in someways the pressure is off now, we’ve stopped hoping and expectations are at rock bottom. Most of the lads I was chatting to at Leicester were talking about next years away days in the Championship. The fact Bournemouth fans are so excited about relegating us shows how one sided the ‘rivalry ‘ is, i remember putting money in their buckets on more than one occasion , and our signing of Neil Moss to bail them out, time to call in a favour this weekend as repayment. They haven’t finished above us in the league since the mid 50s so fair play this must be a landmark season for them. They’ve never scored at St Mary’s so that is bound to happen. My money is on Defoe.

Another one to be filed under “shocking waste of money” that we have accumulated since being back in the premier league. In fairness to the club on this one I think he was very much Puel’s signing just as Osvaldo was Pochettino and Carillo was Pellegrino, we might as well have not bothered and just donated the VVD money to charity instead. Let’s hope that WBA “wonder goal” is enough to persuade Leicester to buy him as a Mahrez replacement
-
I’d like to see lower prices regardless of what league we are in next season, when you compare our “cheapest” season ticket to comparable clubs like Stoke, WBA, Swansea and Huddersfield you realise we pay a lot more. However we all know that we’ll shed a lot of “fans” who are just there to see premier league football, and the array of empty seats at Wembley today showed the process of shedding our part time fans is well under way.

******** so if the keeper is “in the air” but jumps into you it’s a foul? Nonsense decision protecting the big teams as usual.
-
Our tactics / selection was flawed as it was based on trying to defend deep and counter attack, when we did that a couple of times with Long his finishing let us down, without Long we had no pace and with it no attacking threat, Leicester realised this and pushed up dominating the play. I thought our support was decent considering the game, made a decent amount of noise. Their fans really don’t like Puel.
-
Any luck? Day like today can imagine a few might make a last min decision to travel up.
-
I know when Bournemouth played there recently you could just pay on the day (which a load of Lincoln fans did once their game at Coventry was called off) I’d say call Leicester in the morning and ask if you can pay on the day.

Yes ridiculous, the incompetence of the railways rivals our football club. The 6.55 service was showing on the schedule a couple of days ago, now it has disappeared. I asked at Southampton central this morning, first member of staff I spoke to suggested if it wasn’t on the schedule then it never existed, managed to speak to someone who seemed to know what they were doing - apparently overnight engineering works between Eastleigh and Basingstoke so the first direct train is 7.55. I pointed out that plenty of people will have already planned to get the 6.55 and won’t be aware of their sneaky timetable change, she said they hoped to have a bus replacement for the 6.55 as far as Basingstoke

Nearly 4 hours Romsey to Wembley? I’ve done that in 90 mins, F*ck that are you all going to stand around watching a pig slowly roasting at Fleet services ? Leaving Romsey that early you should at least get to Wembley before the pubs open.

Nearly £100m worth of 'Talent' not on the pitch yesterday

What do you reckon we spend per WEEK on those player combined wages? When you stop and consider how much money we’re wasting it’s enough to put you off football for good. -
Chelsea are now letting any season ticket holder or member buy 3 tickets (1 on their number plus 2 extra) if they did that for us would help shift quite a few tickets but I can’t see Saints ticket office allowing that. Surely the risk of touts is low due to such little demand for this fixture. And in response to BarcelonaSaint - you can’t really claim to be a big Saints fan and at the same time be totally disinterested in your club playing in a semi final, fact is the club are going through a bad spell and your support has fallen at the first hurdle. There are fans of many other clubs who’d still love to switch places with us.

More like 8k unsold due to a load of lower tier now available, so we’ve sold 25k. As Chelsea are still trying to encourage sales will be interesting to see what the attendance is on Sunday. The club Wembley middle tier probably counts as being sold even if the corporate holders don’t turn up. Could be lots of empty seats.
-
Well another 300 prime £80 seats have just gone on sale near half way line in block 141, I recall someone moaning on here most of the prime seats were gone on day 1 on the North side, well there’s your answer they never were on sale Saints had held them back reserved for various people I assume players family and execs who obviously didn’t want them based on being put on public sale at this late stage
-
We are really lacking leaders out on the pitch, it’s been apparent for a while but the way we crumble against teams shows how mentally weak most of our players are. Need a Jimmy Case type character out there, unfortunately Bertrand isn’t captain material but like all our recent captains he is probably investing most of his energy in manoeuvring a move out of the club.

Because he’s a show pony who plays like he’s watching himself in the mirror rather what’s best for the team, when the going gets tough he just doesn’t look like he’s up for the battle. At the moment he’s looking like another waste of money to add to the list , another Gaston Ramirez -
Our record up there isn’t great which doesn’t give me hope, they absolutely battered us at St Mary’s as well, just got to cross our fingers that Puel does us a favour. Don’t think there will be many of us up there on Thursday night, would be a good reward for the traveling fans to finally get some points.
-
Makes me laugh when it says that with hundreds available in some of the blocks , looks like at least 5000 still available in our end. Thought I’d see more mention of this game today at St Mary’s but other than a few semi final edition half and half scarves that was about it.
-
Not guaranteed to work but my tip would be to buy £30 adult / £20 concession tickets upper tier behind goal then move into some of the thousands of empty more expensive seats when you get there. I’ve done it myself many times at England games and stewards are generally quite laid back , just don’t make it too obvious. I know fans of quite a few other clubs and fully expect a few texts on the day along the lines of “f*cking hell poor turn out from you lads today” when they show all the empty seats on tv, I remember skates struggling to sell out in 2010 but I think they did just. We’ll end up categorised like Wigan who quite rightly were given a smaller allocation the next time they got to Wembley based on poor previous ticket sales.
-
Loads of prime lower tier tickets back on sale near halfway line - that will annoy those who bought elsewhere having missed out on them.
-
That’s article is very poorly written and factually inaccurate. Other than summering that over the years we’ve had some top players it doesn’t tell you anything. Bale left before administration ffs and Liebherr bought us in league one not championship.
-
Over complicating things is something our ticket office specialise in (incompetence runs from the top of the club down) ignoring the basic rule of business if you make your product difficult to buy the less you’ll sell of it, will be interesting to see how many sell tomorrow, first time non-members get to buy, no idea why they’ve narrowed down “qualifying fixtures” to not include league away games, that seems fairly pointless. NON SEASON TICKET HOLDERS/MEMBERS Subject to availability, following the sale to Official Members, tickets will then go on sale to supporters without a Season Ticket or Official Membership, based on how many qualifying fixtures they have purchased in the 2017/18 season. All home Premier League fixtures up to and including Stoke City, all Emirates FA Cup games from this season (both home and away) and the Carabao Cup fixture vs Wolverhampton Wanderers count towards the criteria, meaning that there are a total of 21 games which can be used to qualify in this sale.” Chelsea still haven’t sold out either.
-
Not sure if already posted on here but this link has a list of all the designated pubs: http://www.wembleystadium.com/Events/2018/Copy-of-Emirates-FA-Cup-Semi-Final-One/Emirates-FA-Cup-Semi-Final

There are thousands left, rough guess 7k still unsold, unless there are loads of non members waiting to buy at the end of the week we are not going to sell out, quite sad really as these occasions are so rare, but reminds me of last season when we didn’t sell out semi final v Liverpool as our fans didn’t think we had a chance in that one either. I agree with earlier posts , if you’re not going just because you can’t be bothered as you think we’ll lose you’re not really a fan. If you’re not going because you can’t afford it then fair enough, but it is mainly the cheaper tickets still available...
