  1. We hardly ever sell out the Northam stand now anyway. Having said that games like Coventry at home promotion, MK Dons JPT when virtually the whole end was home fans stood were great , would be all for it if we could create the same every week. Cardiff have a good end like that where the club have made it known they won't enfore seating so fans can stand without the hassle of stewards telling them to sit.
  2. Fulham should get a point at home to West Ham on Saturday so I expect we'll be bottom going into this match, and will remain so after 0-2 defeat.
  3. I don't think there will be any issues with fans backing the manager, but I do think they've run out of patience with the players, judging by the reaction at the end of the game at Cardiff where the fans anger was directed at the players poor effort. Not surprisingly considering our winless run.
  4. I still can't believe we've already agreed to sign Ings permanently, his injury record is appalling, already missed key games for us and looks set to miss more.
  5. I agree. 1 league win in 15 games this season. One home win in a calendar year. All the signs are there despite a new manager coming in I think we're on our way to relegation.
  6. I'd be surprised, Woking v Watford, Tranmere/Southport v Spurs, Wolves v Liverpool, Solihull/ Blackpool v Arsenal and of course whoever Man Utd are playing will be ahead of us.
  7. Loads of potential good draws, generally prefer an away trip in this round of the cup, my preferences: Woking Barnet Oxford United Wrexham or Newport Accrington Stanley Shrewsbury Grimsby Lincoln AFC Wimbledon Skates Most likely get Watford or Palace.
  8. Didn't realise Lemina and Hoijberg were both out, we're in even bigger trouble than I first thought. Ings and Bertrand likely to be out as well. Spurs have a tough run of games, hopefully they pick our game as the one to rest some players in. I'll predict 2-0 defeat. Sunday - Arsenal (a) Wednesday- Saints (h) Saturday- Leicester (a) Tuesday- Barcelona (a)
  9. Loads of tickets left, is everyone slowly giving up on this season? With our injuries I agree with 0-2 defeat prediction
  10. Chances would be very good, neither the home or away end are sold out. Pretty pointless match with Man City waiting in the next round but I’m actually looking forward to it. Pressure is off we might see n open game and Hughes will have to give some other players a try. We’ve sold 1200 not bad really.
  11. Suddenly our squad roster looks pretty weak going forward, f*ck knows what side we'll put out at Leicester on Tuesday
  12. He doesn't seem to have featured at all or appeared in training photos, not that I study those. And isn't Long out for a few weeks with his ankle? Gabbiadini, Austin and Obafemi might be our only options. I'd play Ward-Prowse as a false number 9.
  13. There is one train an hour reduced service on Saturday due to RMT strike, usless cretins. It's not reflected if you search for train times on the website, but go to the bit about RMT strike and there is a PDF document hidden there with revised timetable. Going to be busy with England v Australia at Twickenham as well. https://www.southwesternrailway.com/plan-my-journey/rmt-industrial-action
  14. Clearly this is virtue signalling nonsense, let's go back to being a football club and not loony political PR machine. Definitely a future job at the council for whoever at the club does all this, they love all this stuff for oppressed minorities.
  15. Pure greed, surprised they allowed it to be made public. You've got people struggling to afford tickets plus grass roots facilities struggling but £5M whip round for a bloke who is already a millionaire? No problem.
  16. Not surprised to see ticket sales are low for this, general feeling of doom and gloom. Most fans I speak expect us to be relegated, home form has been terrible for so long now nobody wants to go to St Mary's. I think best we can hope for is a draw, still not sure where our goals will come from.
  17. It’s ridiculous, after City’s game away to Spurs was moved to the Monday they insisted on having two days gap between games , but they’ll change most of their team anyway. Spurs might have done the same but didn’t want to play Sunday with Champions league game next Tuesday. Hence them playing away to Wolves at 7.45pm Saturday night. It’s the most apathetic I’ve know our fans to be, plenty of regulars not bothering and those who are seriously questioning why. Obviously it will be a comfortable win for Manchester City with Hughes giving his standard interview after the game. Carbon copy of Liverpool away.
  18. Sounds very likely to be the 27th (The following midweek is a full round of premier league games with us away to Spurs) Not going to be next week and we then have two week international break.
  19. Terrible draw, City will cruise past Fulham tonight, we'll most likely lose to Leicester anyway but if we somehow scrape through its hardly an incentive to have them waiting for us in the next round.
  20. At other levels of football if you are unable to fulfil a home fixture you have to forfeit or switch venues, they seem to get away with chopping a changing dates and places, Milton Keynes even FFS nowhere near Tottenham. At least in this case they seem to be suffering, losing last night then a completely changed team could well lose at West Ham tomorrow night. Can't see them going through in the Champions league either.
  21. A Fulham mate of mine has let me know that they have just put on sale block P4 which is right next to the away fans in their neutral section. Tickets are on general sale on Fulham's website so if anyone missed out on one in the away allocation there's plenty left to buy from Fulham. They should have just given us more tickets really.
  22. Looks very dramatic image, but did it burst into flames immediately? Perhaps some got out before it was on fire. There were possibly some fans / club employees in the car park when it crashed. Can't see our game going ahead, weird cup run with our trip to Goodison also moving in the previous round
  23. Shelvey will score so we'll need two at least if we're going to win. Massive game, should be a good atmosphere Saturday 3pm kick off. It's a shame that despite selling out 2400 a couple of weeks ago Newcastle sent back block 43, now on sale to home fans but it always dilutes the atmosphere having Northam home section and fully stood away section segregated by sat down in silence block 43.
  24. Spurs should have been fined for their Man City home game, unable to fulfil a home fixture due to NFL being on at Wembley they shifted it to the Monday which resulted in our Man City away game moving from the Saturday to the Sunday when a number of Saints fans had already booked and paid for travel on the Saturday. They also sold season tickets to their fans based on it being the new ground As someone who likes to tick off new grounds and has done most of the 92 I'm annoyed we'll miss out on playing therè this season with a high chance we'll be relegated so who knows when we'll play them again .
  25. This means we'll get to the end of January without having any away games at all selected for TV, must be a record of some kind. Cardiff away remaining Saturday 3pm is good. Christmas week home games is a f&cking pain
