Good results for us, we just need a win of any kind against Fulham, Brighton fan i work with starting to get nervous, they've got Huddersfield at home Saturday so gives them a nice chance to end their bad run. Wolves losing at Huddersfield was a shock, its Wolves v Cardiff on Saturday so we need them to bounce back with a convincing home win.
-
You’re right, I actually think they’d struggle to get top 10 in the championship
-
When was the mast time we beat a promoted side? Our results in these games have been dreadful and I'm resigned to another one on Weds, 1-1 draw.
-
Fulham’s support is league one standard, they took smallest allocation of 1800 and have only sold just over 1000 of those so we could end up with block 44 as well. Good to see the club at least trying to fill the ground but on recent home form I think they’ll struggle to shift many. Massive massive game.

Southampton Central station closed all day Sunday as well so rubbish start to an away day , bus replacement service between Brockenhurst and Eastleigh , seems to happen all the time at the moment.
-
Arsenal have to overcome a tricky 2nd leg against BATE Borisov on Thursday night having lost the first leg 1-0 in Belarus, i expect them to get through but hopefully playing a strong team and not resting key players. Our winter sun break in Tenerife will have helped Ralph make his mark, but I'm not sure how he'll approach this fixture with the massive game to come at home to Fulham a few days later.

Is she a sports minister? Must be something to do with that rather than just being a local mp , neither the stadium or training ground are in her constituency so can't see the relevance of the meeting. They should publish the minutes of the meeting, strange behaviour, no idea what Gao is up to but he's definitely a shifty character and the club doesn't look like its going improve under his ownership. Wonder who initiated the meeting and how he can justify a private audience with a member of parliament.

I can definitely see Cardiff getting points in their next 2 games both at home against Watford and Everton, both sides capable of rolling over. Bound to be a few twists but I've got a feeling we'll go this year. Having had a long break between games we face 3 in 7 days , can see Ralph saving players for the Fulham game and mixing it up in likely defeats away at Arsenal and Man Utd, especially if Ings is still out for all 3.
-
I've seen words like disgusting/ disrespectful / insensitive, being used to describe the incident with the saints fan. I'll tell you whats all those things, Cardiff City stalling over payments due making Nantes require legal action to pursue what's owed whilst at the same time Cardiff milking the death of a player for every ounce of sympathy and goodwill. If the team spirit keeps them up it will be worth the £15M.
-
Agree, think we're going to rely on Ings being fit for enough games in the run in and a great escape run of resukts in April / May.
-
Agree, it wasn't a transfer window, it was a cost cutting exercise in reducing the wage bill, don't think we had any real intention of bringing in a player. Gao is a f%cking waste of space , he's brought nothing to this football club. On the basis we'll lose to Arsenal , Man Utd and Spurs in 3 of our next 4 games it looks like we'll be stuck in the relegation zone with no spirit or fight in the squad.

I feel sorry for Sala and his family, but no sympathy at all for Cardiff City, their feigned outpouring of grief for someone they didn’t know and now the predictable feigned outrage taking offence at a couple of plane impressions. Fair play Warnock knows what he’s doing to use it to galvanise a survival battle spirit and use it to their advantage. Talking about banning people is ridiculous and the usual social media witch hunt.
-
Something is clearly not right, our most experienced player with 19 England caps, champions league medal, had been captain but Ralph obviously not too interested in him, probably another high earner they are planning to get off the wage bill, and having an academy player in place at left back ticks another box for the club.
-
I must admit i find the whole Sala episode a bit odd, but a player who they had never seen has managed to galvanise the club ready for a relegation battle and they seem to have good team spirit for survival. They've sold out so will be 3300 assuming they took full allocation. Quite a few home end seats left but should be a full house by the weekend. I think Southampton central station is closed this weekend, not ideal as trains from Cardiff will also be diverted to Eastleigh and bus replacements from there. http://www.cardiffcityforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=204747&sid=6ecaf6c40d328fdc1dd77c8bd4ae6f88

Was that before he got an injury keeping him out for a year? For a while when i went to u23 and youth cup games he was a name always mentioned as next one for the conveyor belt of talent, will be great if he makes it.
-
I don't think poor old Lighthouse has ever played football unfortunately, or perhaps just 5-a-side not allowed over head height. He's clueless on this but trying to use it as a stick to hit Stephens with.
-
This is absolutely correct as anyone who has ever played football will know. Crouch fouled Stephens 100% that lead to the error and the penalty decision. No way can you blame Stephens for that. Burnley should have had a pen 1st half, but two wrongs don't make a right.
-
And he'll miss several games with each injury, month here and there , what % of minutes has he played since season? Not enough for someone who is supposed to be our main threat. Not looking forward to this game at all, went to Cardiff away, they were shlte and still beat us. As well as we have improved under Ralph i don't think he has worked out how to break down sides like that, especially with our limited forward line. Another 1-1 .

Adult £30, u18 £15

It was a big cost cutting exercise to pay partly for recent mistakes in the transfer market. Think we'll get more of the same in the summer.
-
It certainly would, so Saints being Saints you can put your money on a Palace win (late goal, scored on break in front of their own fans)
-
Agree I'm still gutted we are out, missed out on doing Accrington away and a great chance of having a long exciting cup run. Having said that the fact we got nowhere near selling out our allocation for the semi final last season you can't blame the club for not prioritising silverware. Skates reckon they've done well going further than us in the cup, fingers crossed all these extra fixtures in this and the checkatrade will cost them a promotion place.
-
Our recent transfer dealings have felt as much of a financial cost cutting exercise as much as a football based decision, trying to get higher earners off the books. If Gao and Nelly are on their way out leaving us with a new Mingke the Mericless it will be interesting to see how this is communicated by the club.
-
Why are we incapable in selling our players and end up being stitched up with these loans. Boufal, Hoedt, Carillo etc etc just .massive waste of money with little return. If Inter want Cedric enough hold out for them to cough up a transfer fee, otherwise keep him. Gao must be looking to reduce the outgoings significantly
-
If thats true awful deal, we are so weak at full back, who knows when Bertrand will be back, Targett picks up quite a few knocks so Cedric has filled in at left back, plus despite having weaknesses he is still much stronger at right back than Valery and Ramsay.
