  1. Nasty Mopo. Trying to get someone in of better quality to replace a player. Danny Fox should of been our left back not Shaw. We would of got £50 billion from selling Fox to Madrid if he had stayed....
  2. It looks a lot better in the video.
  3. Don't buy it for a second. Half a year is plenty of time to sort out a kit manufacturer/design. Unless the board have been sleeping on the job of course. If my company can make 1000 custom shirts to send to Africa as part of our partnership with a charity in over 3 weeks I am sure a PL club can do the same...
  4. Worst kit ever. (which is why I don't think it is our kit). Also got to love the Cortese digs. Are people seriously saying a guy who handed in his notice 8 months ago (whilst Adidas were still sponsors) is able to lock in the design for our kit for the following season? Very doubtful....
  5. If true then he should of been made an example of. Do what Cortese did and send players to train with the kids. My concern is it shows to other players if you want out then just go on strike. Sounds as though the transfer was not on our terms at all....
  6. 18 months at one club in the pl is a long time these days fry.
  7. So we sell pretty much 40% of our outfield starting 11 and we are in our best ever position? Would like some of what that guy is smoking. People are acting/talking as if we have already brought in suitable cover which we haven't. When/if that happens then talk about how strong we are because right now it is based on a whole lot of If's.
  8. If we are picking championship players I'd rather go for Jordan Rhodes. But like I say with 50m plus to spend I wouldn't be looking at that league anyway. I'd try and get Hernnandez from man utd. Michu, Boney etc. Plenty of people who imo are better. It will just cost more.
  9. Would rather a proven goal scorer at this level tbh
  10. £25m will be a joke. Considering the sell on clause and the fact worse players have gone for more i.e Fellani
  11. Looks like he was right about the Lallana figure then
  12. Heard that too. I got a bad feeling they are talking about Morgan. Would be so gutted if it is him.
  13. Exactly. I imagine a lot of players are going to have to be convinced to stay now. The question is do the players believe the board and their ambitions? Clearly three people now didn't and I expect that number to rise.
  14. Gutted that he has gone but if a player wants to leave then not much you can do sadly. Hopefully the club stay true to their word and re-invest all the money from transfers to strengthen the team this season.
  15. Not sure what game Woy was watching, I thought it was poor. I don't even remember us having a shot on target....
  16. People saying Welbeck is good are joking right? Football isn't about how fast you can run it is about how you control the ball. Oscar pistorious as better ball control than Danny...
  17. The problem is and always will be the manager picking players based on name rather then ability/current form. Rooney should be dropped but never will. Welback had a terrible season but still gets picked. Time to look to the future and that means the end of players such as Johnson, Gerrard, Jagielka, and players such as Rooney. He has had three world cups and has been gash. It is all well and good scoring against small team as in the qualifiers but he just can't do it on the big stage. Time for a cull IMO and that includes woy.
  18. Koeman Ronnie Oh i Swear that they mean At this moment they mean everything with this defence my thoughts I must confess verge on nervy oh Koeman ronnie.... I'll get me coat
  19. Will be a decent appointment for us but there are a few concerns I have. Mainly his record outside Holland is a bit iffy. Secondly at Feyenoord his transfer activity was mostly to bring in frees. 14 of his 18 transfers were on frees. That isn't to say we should expect that here it is simply saying he is used to building teams without spending much. That could be a good thing of course but in the PL you will not get far with a team of frees imo. I think he will do a good job here if he is given the funds and freedom to do as he sees fit. Build his own team. Maybe go back for Pelle and Kongolo as they would be good additions to the team. Thank fook is was not Bruce though!
  20. With my family being Italian naturally it was a win win situation for me. I thought it was a decent game and England did a lot better then I thought they would. Sterling did very well. The only downers would be Rooney again failed to deliver on the top stage. Wellbeck did ok for the first 20 mins then was just a passenger after that. Still think we will get through.
  21. Kind of find it interesting that no other clubs seemed to have gone for him, especially the bigger ones. His record in Holland has been decent (except AZ) but outside of there has been a bit dodgy.
  22. Exactly he said "In the end, we whittled it down from managers who’ve won trophies, won leagues, won European competitions, had vast experience of playing in the Champions League and European cups and so on" I would be very surprised if he says that then goes for a guy who finished 8 places below us last season and had a 56% loss ratio that year. Unless he means they won those things as a player of course.
  23. Tuchel did a good job overall with Mainz (although they did have a few bad seasons too). Funny enough I was working in Germany in 2010 and remember them doing very well. They had some good players. I think they had Shurlee (or however you spell it) Fuchs and Holtby who stood out. Seemed to be a very young team. So would fit with our philosophy of bringing through youngsters. Maybe he would bring Okazaki here too.
  24. Giving them money will be life changing, kicking a ball around for a few mins with them won't... "I was going to be a Gangster until this English guy came over and kicked a ball with me, now I want to be a money grabbing football player!"
  25. Would prefer someone like Citeh or Chelski away for our first game as by the sounds of things we are going to have to field half a new team. So going to take sometime to 'gel'. Better to lose to those teams then those who might end up around us. That said if we do keep our team together I would love QPR at home so we can welcome Arry back with a mauling.
