  1. For the fear that you'll be shot dead by the police ? In what world is it acceptable to have to remain in your vehicle for fear of death ? What on earth allows a police officer judgement to fire his weapon at a civilian that poses him no significant threat ?
  2. Made me lol
  3. I think we need a striker with better finishing and movement, I do agree with you there, but I think its achievable with different personel. My point being, we will lose more due to changing the team shape thenwe will benefit including Hernandez. I think we will stick with a striker more able to play deeper, to hold the ball up and to be a threat, but that player needs to be better infront of goal. I dont dislike Pellè per se, he does a job, but his composure doesnt look like improving any time soon, and thats a worry for me. Personally I dont see Hernandez as the answer, but thats just me and my footballing philosophies, everyone portrays the way the game should be played differently, so who knows what Koeman has up his sleeve.
  4. Agreed, think Austin would do a better job all in all. I really like Ings but for me we already have Jay Rod and to the lesser extent Long to fulfill the role he would potentially play. I think Austin would be a good fit and likley achievable.
  5. All of those players have a more expansive game to Hernandez and none of them are what I would class as a player that sits on the last man. We dont need that sort of player, we need a player like pellè but with a but more composure in front of goal
  6. Nor do I, he is right up there in my list of players of the season for me. Could easily go to a top four team IMO
  7. It all makes you wonder whats being said behind the scenes, this has all the hallmarks of a player that sees his future elsewhere but with the club thinking otherwise for me. I imagine its all come to a head, hence why he was dropped on Saturday. Hopefully it'll be sorted quickly because, as good as Alderweireld is he just doesnt possess the attacking flair of Clyne. I am reserved to losing Clyne this summer to be honest, but aslong as we get a good fee and replace with a goid attacking full back then Im all for it. Its a shame Spurs pocketed Yedlin after the world cup tbh as I think that kid could be mustard.
  8. Montoya, Van der Viel, Byram, Trippier, richards (unconvinced) There are plenty of options out there, if he wants to move on so be it, its been great watching his rise but we just arent big enough to offer what he wants. Offer him a decent contract offer, give him until the end of the season. If he isnt interested then move him on, 20m or so should do it
  9. I genuinely have no idea what point you're attempting to make here
  10. Whats your point ? He is on circa 30-40k at Villa
  11. As a club we wont willingly lose 4-6 first team players again, its basically suicide. We got away with it this year, in fact we have done an incredible job this year, but we would struggle to replicate this summers transfer 'policy' (term used loosely) ever again. That said we dont know what the situation will be with Vic, in fact you could argue we might aswell sell all of our assets with declining contract status (which is pedantically the whole squad) but we wont. Id be amazed if we arent trying to habd out some bigger contracts right now, hence our lack of any meaningful activity this january.
  12. Cheers bear, nice to know someone believes in me
  13. I really enjoyed it, takes a couple of episodes to get into but its up there with Walking dead and Thrones for me What was everyones thoughts on Breaking Bad out of interest ? Personally I thought it was decent but I didnt see it as the untouchable series that it was made out to be. Both Walking Dead and Game of Thrones are better IMO
  14. I like the idea of pushing toby up to play alongside Morgan, and keeping a defence of Yoshi and Fonte to be honest. I just hope Yoshi can cope with Stokes physicality and the no doubt aimed passing to Crouchies head. ------------Davis----------- Clyne Fonte Yoshi Bertrand -Schneiderlin -Alderweireld- Long -------JWP------Mane -------------Pellè-----------
  15. Drove a Porsche 911, Lambo Gallardo, Audi R8 and an Aston Vanquish. Great day, really enjoyed it. No real advice to give really except that as much as they are just making more money out of you take up the excess waiver as its around 2k excess as standard. Drive you're least favourite first as you'll get used to the track as you go. The RWD are difficult if you arent used to them, I thought I was going to kill myself in the porsche as the turbo kicked in as I hit the corner but the Lambo was a beast. It was going into it my least favourite but what a car, its like its glued to the track.
  16. You still dont have a relevant response then ?! Oh well As per Michu he has been at Napoli and done reletively sod all. Last year he was perhaps what we wanted but Im not sure now. I think we could do better. Shelvey ? Yeah Id take shelvey, liked him since he destroyed us as a 16/17 yr old for charlton
  17. Have a day off
  18. Good start to the series, I dont think Ill watch the leaked episodes, think Ill wait and watch them week to week, that way, since Walking Deads finished, I get something to look forward too. That said I do much prefer the Netflix model, as bearsy says, I get to sit and watch Breaking Bad, Sons of Anarchy etc to my hearts content. As for GoT, its good, its super good, but having read the books there is certainly something missing. I dont look forward to it as much as I do Walking Dead, because I know what happens I think. Its going to be interesting to see what happens at the end of this series however considering this is effectively the current most recent book in effect and Winds of Winter is apparantly not due till next year.
  19. Whens the home leg
